Capricorns and compliments

How do cappies take compliments? I've experienced that they don't know what to say but what I really want to know is do they really mean anything to the capricorn. Do they believe the compliment and take it to heart, or do they dismiss it?

Can only speak about man here. He compliments himself. Hourly! So it's self-service basically...?

I have a Cap friend that compliments herself all the time.

I don't take compliments well. I usually don't believe them, and not to say the person is lying about the compliment...but if I can't see it then I don't believe it.

My wife is a Cap and each time I give her a compliment, she doesn't accept the compliment. Like I'll compliment her on her looks, either saying that she's gorgeous or beautiful, but she denies that she's gorgeous or beautiful.

How is she with regards to compliments on her work or work ethic?

We don't take compliments very well lol I'm a cap girl and I've been told time and time again that i don't. It's not that I'm trying to be rude...it's just that we are very tough on our outside shell and when people are sweet to us its like they are melting our cold hearts and we don't know what to do or say so we brush it off. But secretly we do appreciate it and it does mean something to us.
