What does it "really" mean when a cap guy says....let be friends and see where it goes from there—
CONFUSED!!
This whole thing is just so darn confusing.....
@Caplove
Thank you....I did, I told him that I just felt like he wasn't interested and like we were on 2 different pages. Hours later he came back with "look lets just be friends and we'll see what comes out of that. For now if you don't want that then just say." I know I did the right thing but like I said I'm confused....LOL

It means exactly that.
I agree, guys aren`t really that confusing, if you actually listen to them..even by their actions you can get a lot of insight from that too..
He says what he means and means what he says....
I think the best thing to do is embrace the space, and use it to distance yourself emotionally and start giving yourself a bit of a break.
The stress of worrying about relationships with other people can be very wearing, stop trying to anticipate where he is at and what he is thinking and focus on you!
You are allowed to be enigmatic too you know, 🙂 let him figure it out...

It means exactly that.
^^^^ THIS ^^^^
The man is just being honest. Take him at his word.
It means he doesn't want a romantic relationship with you, he's not feeling it. However, he does like you enough to be friends and wants to maintain the friendship.
