Focus or obsession

There was a post on the Gemini board about being obsessive. But, I tend to do my fair share of obsessing as well... I prefer to call it focus though. Of course, my Moon is in Gemini so this could explain obsessive aspects of my personality. When I am dating (or want to) or in a relationship I focus on (or obsess over) every little thing the individual says and does (or does not do), what each action/reaction means in the scheme of things, and what direction things are going in - I don't want my efforts to be for naught. This, I suspect, is different from how a Gemini obsesses though. I am also very much the pursuer... if I want something I go after it and can come across as a little obsessive in that respect at times because I'm so focused on getting what I want.

So, thoughts on obsessively focusing or focusing obsessively...

I tend to get really involved in any project I'm really passionate about. I'm a bit more laid-back when it comes to relationships, my attention-span won't allow me to pay attention to too many details.

I don't think Im too much of either. I can be focused on work or my relationship or w/e it may be, but nothing overly done. I usually just go with the flow of things.
