Hard to read this Cap guy. Please help!

Almost a year ago, I met this cap guy in a outdoor event away from my home town (which is away from his hometown as well). Him and his acquaintance/friend took a liking in me at the same time. They competed for my attention for the evening and this cap eventually took charge. He added me on FB and we ended up spending the night together and it was something extremely hard to forget... I was meeting up with a friend for lunch the next day and I didn't want to wake him up, so I left my phone number by his keys with a little note and my phone number. He never called. In that afternoon, I messaged him and it took a while to get a response. I told him that I was leaving the next morning and asked if he wanted to *hand out*. He said he was tired so I packed my bag and went to bed. As I was leaving, I saw him texting me at 4am saying "Have a good flight." Tired much? I thanked him and that was all there was going to be at that tine. Fast forward to a couple of months. I checked in at his home town on my work and out of blue he texted me saying how long I was there for. He said he wasn't in town but he asked me to text him when I was there the next time. I said OK. Since then, he would text me intermittently telling me how he keeps thinking about the night that we spent together. So one day, I was going through his town for work and texted him that I was coming. He said that he would be out of town for work that day but he will try his best to get back before I was leaving. He wasn't really responding to my texts but he said he might be able to get back in time. Then nothing. The night before I was leaving I texted him that I was not going to waste my time but thanks for a nice evening that day, and have a great life, then I blocked him on FB.

Fast forward a few months, he started following me on Instagram, liking a few of my posts here and there, then a few weeks later he messaged me. Saying that he was sorry that we couldn't meet last time. He gave me a very cappy excuse of being busy with work. He then proceeded to tell me that he wants me to let him know when I was going to his town again. I accepted his apology and said I don't hang around with people who don't value my time. He bugged me a few times when I was coming... So I let him know about a month later I was coming through his town. He then gave me his phone number. Well over 9 months after we met! To my surprise, he invited me to his house, and we spent the night together again. This time an introduction to his dog, dinner, dessert, drinks and a movie were included. We then each confirmed that evening that we are kind of similar people. We hit it off really well and had a blast laughing and giggling. He then told me that he was coming to my town soon. So I told him he should hit me up. Little did I know it was so soon and I had already planned my vacation for some of the time he was here. When I got back from my vacation, he wouldn't want to hang out with me even though we were in the same town because of his "friends" he was with. He would message me but wouldn't call me. I suspected something was out of order. I told him there has to be a reason why he can't mix me with his friends. I told him that I don't judge and I am neither a jealous or a protective type. Then he confessed that his "friend" was a girl and she's not happy that she has to go home and he has to continue on. I told him to stay with her and comfort her since he is now involved. We ended up meeting for mere 30min for coffee just before he had to travel on. We were actually both really excited to see each other even though it was short. Then he started telling me he would like to see me again and "see where it goes". He kissed me before he left, then he started messaging me that "we have fun together every time.", and he wants to go to places with me. etc. He is now inviting me to come and visit him anytime this summer in the town where we met. At this point, I am confused to the track record of him telling me he wants to see me while coming so close but stay strangely out of my reach. It's almost like he's teasing me! He only seized 2 chances out of possible 5 excluding the night that we met. The wording in his messages are slowly but surely intensifying over time, but the track record... His action doesn't always match his words... If I decide to go visit him, is he going to pull the rug under my feet? What am I to make of him? Is he testing my patience? Grrrrrrrhhhh!! I'm Aquarius and I'm usually good at staying cool and figuring people out, but him!! Please help!

Aquarius women - Cap Men is an enigma. I still cant figure out why we are attracted to each other so much, yet something pulls us away from each other every time I meet one. I have about 4 cap men in my life who are on and off in the course of 15 years.

I just can't deal with the overthinking and trying to figure out what they want, usually they go with someone else but then they are always thinking about me and some would say that theyd jump to be with me any second but won't commit to it and even as much as I'd like to "chase" them, I don't because when I do show that I liked them they'd either feel comfortable or pull away.
