Help with Capricorn man

I am a 25 year old woman who has had a crush on a cap man now for years!
We started hanging out alot last year and we had this strong connection that we both felt, but on and off he would seem interested and then he wouldn't. I could never fully read him. We would have passionate makeout sessions and then he wouldn't call me for days later!
Then he was going off to college and he seemed to have really pulled away from me so I didn't go to his going away party. He stopped talking to me alltogether and hasn't spoke to me since. I don't know if he was pissed that I didn't go.I have tried to get ahold of him via emails but I would get nowhere. Should I just give up?

Put it this way: If he didn't disappear once in a while & if he was the 'clingy' type who was constantly breathing down your neck, would you still be attracted to him? Isn't it his unattainability that draws you to him?

Could be that he's pissed. Could also be that he's just more focused on his new life in college. A Cap is just a scorpio in a suit. So his emotions are just as deep as yours and very similar in thinking. Meaning, he knows you and how your mind works. What I mean is, he knows that scorps never really forget their past loves. He brings it up from time to time because he's looking for re-assurances that you are COMPLETELY over your ex and are COMPLETELY into him (the Cap). Well it has been 5 months since we have talked...he did go very far away to school. I am definitely not the type to get in the way of someones goals and by all means I wanted him to do very well in school so I had no problem giving him space. People deserve space. I hope and wish nothing but the best for him...and I keep saying to myself that time will make things much easier for me but it hasn't. I felt so alive when I was with him. Now nothing is as exciting. That is the way life is though.....just pretty depressing. Life is so boring without love.

Yes, I have to admit myself, Patience is a virtue with a Cap man. Cap men are very, very career oriented and his career will come before YOU! His girl, well I wouldn't play a girlfriend role to a Cap man. Period. He loves a challenge.

You may have been acting more like a friend or a lover with benefits to him. So cutting him off high and dry may have been the best thing for you to do. I personally wouldn't do the friends with benefits thing. You either love me and you are going to commit or bye.

i was making a joke. haha. but yeah, i've gotten "caught" though i always try to present myself in the best light, which takes us back to the topic. we caps like to keep up appearances and control our surroundings...caps and scorps are hard in the communication department because both get spooked by the intensity and both are seething under the surface. it's like playing double dutch. we know how fun it'll be once we jump in, but we don't want to get hit in the face or trip and fall.
