Helping my ex cappy getting back with his previous ex :(

Hello I'm new here . Can anyone help me ? I'm heartbroken my cappy man who l still love, broke up with me a week ago confessing he still have feelings for his ex ,they broke up two years ago. I am so hurt . We had a great time together for 5 months ., he was so amazing I couldn't help but fall for him. When he broke up with me I accepted as I couldn't help much if he was never mine. Also we go to same gym it's so hard for me to pretend I'm alright while inside my Heart starts pounding n my legs shaking,And today he texted me telling me how he proposed his ex for marriage and she said no and they are meeting up soon for further talks about their possibility . So he shared his feelings with me about his situation with his ex. And yeah he is still texting about it. I wanted to be there for him But at the same time I havnt recovered from our breakup . It's so hard . By the way I'm an aries and can anyone tell what I'm I supposed to do here? 😢

I agree with everyone....Let go and letting go means taking time for yourself. Change your phone number if you have to, get a new gym membership and block him on all social networks.

I can almost guarantee you he's not in love with his ex, it's all nostalgia for him and once he realize you are gone for good he'll be back professing how much of a jerk he was for letting you go and that can take anywhere from 9 days to 6 months which is just enough time for him to remember why he broke up with the ex in the first place.

So until get back into his right mind just move on and don't allow him to have any contact with you and when or if he reaches out to tell you about his life don't answer. Ignore ignore ignore until he come correct.

I mean complete apathy, that pain will have his ass looking for you with a flashlight in the daytime.

Tikki33 thank you and yes even I thought its nostalgia and you right I shouldn't be involved in this dramatic life. Yes I'm planning to change the gym , Today I feel like a new person. Thank you all for giving me your inputs so that I start thinking clear with clear visions.

Thank you everyone who replied and posted me some good advice I needed to hear as my brain was freezed for a while as i didn't understand to act normal like I'm okay or to shake him up and tell him that he is not supposed too talk about his ex and him. Before I wanted him to be back so much , he had no idea how much pain it was for me this one week. He told me I was in love with him and this made him run away and he still is in love with his ex who broke up two years ago, which hurt me more. And now about his marriage proposal and plans for meeting her in few days . He also told me he is nervous n anxious.
