The one that got away, does it stay on your mind? Is it someone you can't forget? Does Capricorns ever revisit this? If they do do they ever act on it? I'm asking the Cap men specifically but looking for all opinions.
31 years ago i had a relationship with a cap for 8 months. Last year i got divorced and he contacted me . He said i had always stayed in his mind, he knew back then i was the one for him and had never forgotten me. We are living together right now and been together for a year. I don't know if that happens or if this is rare.
Some Caps like to always be a bit miserable I believe, so in order to make sure of that theyll most likely have "that one that got away" lurking around in the back of their minds. When they are happy, the thought of her will bring them to that space, when they are sad, its because they dont have her. Imo, its just something created to enable that constant state of misery.
I'm not a guy, but a cap.
There is a guy like that for me. He has always been there in the back of my mind and I still haven't given up on him.
I should probably add that all other guys are fond memories, but it's completely over for me, so it's not that it happens a lot - it's just that guy.
My experience with this (being a male cap) is that I think of her from time to time.
Not because I want to be miserable or anything, I just don't forget people who brings out these feelings.
I rarely think of what we could've been or what she does etc. I do sometimes look her up at facebook, just out of curiosoty.
Altough she was the one who played me, I would've liked it if she contacted me.. Strangly.. I know that's naive.. And I guess I feel that way just because it indicates she has not forgotten about me.
Could we start over if she wanted to?
No..but not because I was hurt.. Mostly because of my current involvement with another girl. And the one who got away can't change anything about that.
If I was free.. Then yes we could.
Ehhh.....I had a guy I used to think about. I tried to rekindle something 30 years later after we both got divorced and ran into each other. It didn't work out. I no longer think of him. I realizeit didn't work then and it didn't work later - personalities are still the same.

french....I am a Capricorn. I am the personal experience. I know waayyyyy too many Caps, including my father and best friend.
Since when does a Cap let "the one" get away? It makes no sense to not be with that person, especially when what most Caps want when it comes to relationships is to find the one.
It's just a good set up to be miserable imho.
My cap ex only comes back when he smell money

She's a cap.
I like Capn response. Though I realize we were never all that compatible. I like to hold on to that feeling he gave so I will think of him from time to time.

Family means everything to them.
The relationship never had a chance to get off the ground due to his family so we stayed friends. I can see what you mean by that.
