How lucky are Capricorns in general?

Something happened with my Cap this weekend that made me wonder just how lucky or unlucky Caps are.

Not sure how to phrase this question so feel free to answer however is best.

I don't consider myself lucky. I think/hope I'm protected most of the time, but not lucky.

i am pretty lucky in general. i feel it has a lot to do with the optimistic outlook of my sag rising.

We got into an accident. In a nutshell, he rides a motorbike, first time taking me out on it. A car opens the door into us. 4 hrs in the ER. Stiches for him as he tried to break our fall with his knee (yeah stiches on the knee and he's a cap, rules the knees). He also purposely did not move the bike out of the way, as my leg would have caught the door since i was on the back, legs out more. I walked away with a scratch. Feel very bad for him and touched.

His band gets a record deal signed and sealed. About to go on tour and lead singer drops out without warning. His mom died tragically when he was a teen. Etc etc.

Just seems like he has a harsh life sometimes and kind of unlucky...

Yeah probably just how life is meant to happen and to be experienced. Almost spiritually growth. Like he has guardian angels and he's a strong person to go through that and continue life.

Sun conjunct, trine or sextil Jupiter is an aspect for lucky people.

Of course is not a lucky for winning lottery but for easy living

To answer the OP..

I think Caps are very lucky mostly due to their innate sense of time and place. Being in the right place at the right time is the source of much luck and having the recognition skills to act without haste.

After one's Saturn return, if you've been doing the things you're supposed to, Saturn stops riding you and things start to lighten and ease up for caps.

It's also a personal belief of mine, as I was telling a Virgo friend, that "the more generous you are, the luckier you are." It might be more of a karma thing. An example would be- I went home to visit family and friends in late May and early June. Different people cautioned me against paying for all meals, events, and entertainment because it was reasoned that it was my 'hard work, perseverance, effort, and life that I made' and not their right to my means. I did anyways. I just got an unexpected client contract that will more than pay for what I spent.

my husband is always very generous. almost TOO generous.

and he is a good man too, and people consider him lucky because of it.

being a miser will literally make you miserable.

edit - I think that balance and you give generously, the universe will always have your back.

Thank you all. Yeah, we are shaken up. I have heard him say he should have died many times... He's lucky to be alive and not worse off etc. he does seem to know he is luckier than a lot of people. We both have Jupiter in Sagittarius.

One thing I want to ask the caps. I notice he is keeping track of who is msging him to see how he is. He is also noting who is asking how I am. Ie. "Bob texted to see if i'm ok, didn't ask about you though.. ?". Or, "Bill didn't check to see if you're ok". It's usually the first thing he says after he mentions them asking after him. The two above are his bandmates.

I haven't been asking him if they are or not so why is he doing that?

Yeah, I agree with this. Saturn is a heavy. Caps accomplish a lot through hard work, focus and persistence.

I could see him making a mental note, but I don't see the point in him telling you. Imo, I would keep that part to myself to not hurt your feelings. I don't get why he's speaking out loud on that part.

I think I'm pretty lucky tbh. I understand that life can be much worse.

All my hard work has paid off for me. Although I'm not exactly where I want to be yet in life, I'm thankful for how far I've come on my own doing.

I have loving and supportive people around me, and that is priceless.

I think I'm a very lucky person. But I feel it also depends on your expectation of life, you'll feel lucky when you get more than you expected.

Luck is what you make of it. Simple as that. The actions, and decisions you take in life will determine the positions you will be put in, and the circumstances and outcomes. Of course, not everything is in our control, but every action as a reaction. If you are generally an optimist, and you approach life with that viewpoint, generally you will find success. This can be related to being lucky, but in truth it is the risk/reward system. Every decision you make will have a consequence. Maybe not immediately, but it will eventually. If you live recklessly, it will catch up to you sooner or later. If you live in fear, and with caution, you may miss out on a lot of opportunity, and underachieve. Etc, etc, etc.

Take your friend for example. He might have what you call a string of bad luck. Some of it his fault, some of it not. it is how he handles this, that will determine the person he is, and the path he takes with his life. You could say I am unlucky. I have done jail time. Lost my house to a hurricane. Had to endure the slow agonizing death of my beloved 91 yo grandmother in a hospice program, and lost my sister to suicide. However, I look at it as being blessed. These experiences molded me into being one of the strongest individuals almost immune to adversity. These experiences molded my personality and allowed to find success in other aspects of my life. I do not fear failure, because I have seen it, and know that it is possible to overcome, because I have done it several times already. If I was another type of person, I could have easily fallen into depression and given up on life. It all depends how you want to look at it. I see your friend as a strong individual who will tackle any obstacle life throws at him. That is admirable IMO, and I think he has a bright future ahead of him.

Capricorn sun here. I'm not very lucky; I have to work for everything. Not complaining.

I read the accident and badlucks,that can happen to anyone and I don't see Caps as lucky people I see them as hardworking,focused and diligent people who won't give up till they achieve their goals no matter the obstacles.

Well Caps get luckier with time. We have the finesse to go through the school of hardknocks and that takes us further in life.

Being slightly pessimistic but with determination, luck eventually smiles on us!
