Update:
She arrived home at 13:30 UK time... Delighted with the flowers and far too excited to see me to consider sleeping or eating - she just wanted to kiss me, hug me and tell me all about her trip... and show me the many amazing photos that she took.
She managed four hours sleep on her flight from Boston to London and I managed about the same while she was on that flight, so we're both pretty tired!
She's just in the shower now and then we're heading off for an early night and a big cuddle π

Cappy ladies - I need your advice!
My wonderful Cappy girlfriend is away on business at the moment. We live in England and she traveled to Boston, MA last Saturday and onward to Phoenix, AZ yesterday. She returns via an epic 20 hour journey consisting of three flights, starting in Phoenix on Friday morning, changing at Boston and onward to London England, changing again and then onward to Manchester England, then finally a one hour taxi journey home, arriving Saturday lunchtime.
When she arrives at home she's going to be very tired and possibly hungry too.
To make her arrival as comfortable as possible I'm cleaning the apartment from top to bottom so it's spotless when she gets home, putting fresh sheets on the bed in the morning before she arrives home so she can go straight to sleep if she wants in the maximum possible comfort, stocking-up on her favorite foods in case she wants to eat, and I've also ordered a large bunch of scented pink roses (her favorite) which will I will place on the dining room table for he to see when she arrives.
The most significant factors are that she will be very tired and probably hungry. With this in mind, can you think of anything else I can do to maximize her comfort and make her arrival home the best experience that it could possibly be?
