Jupiter and Capricorn

So,
I happen to read some stuff on the Internet that says Jupiter will be entering Capricorn in Dec. of this year and will stay in Capricorn for one year.

Many sites also say that will bring Caps lot of prosperity in every thing. That same alignement will bring lots of love for Virgos.

Any one knows what it means having Jupiter in a particular sign? I know little about eclipses etc. but this Jupiter stuff is brand new for me. Never knew even astrology is this complecated!!!
