Not calling on birthday

How bad is it not wishing a Cap a happy birthday? I would imagine when mine came around, it would be payback? 🙂

After 7 months of on/off contact from a Cap..I called and wished him a "Happy Birthday" ANNND wished him "Congratulations" on his 3wk old newborn baby that he NEVER told me he was expecting. He was Shocked as all HELL that I found out and confronted him.. asked me.."Oh how did you know??".. Supriiiise Muthafkka!!!

Thats def not something one should keep from someone. Especially me.
You can *act* secretive..but I find them out and BRING Em out.

It might be payback. It might not be. Depends on how much we care about you or care about our own birthdays.

He says he doesn't care but it's the big 40. He wasn't looking forward to it, that decade was freaking him out!

Well, do you not care about your birthdays in general? I tend to care about that day, people that I am close to or that I care about -- I hope they remember. Even if it's a few days late... but I hear alot of Caps say they consider it a normal day. Is that really true?

Just acknowledge it now. Gets it out of the way. Some Caps view it as just another day, but if you're close it's noticeable. It's not so much the well wishes as much as it is remembering a friend.

Yeah, I might just acknowledge it when I see him again... 🙂

To me it's just another day. I was shocked when I heard from my father on mine, I could have cared less if he had acknowledged it and we're close.

My Cappy used to tell me that his birthday was never something special to him...

Well this year, his sister did not call him to wish him happy birthday and he has mentioned it like 5 times. I'm thinking that its important. As far as pay back, I'm guessing I'll find that out soon because she's an aquarius.

If I was in your place I would definitely call.

If its someone close capis want them to wish them happy b day. But will say its not a big deal as its another day. Deep down they do like it.
One year I didn't say it n capi didn't talk to me for 2 weeks after!
Now I just say it in the evening so he's kept on his toes n wondering, waiting why there's no message/txt.
When he does finally see it on his phone it's more special - worked for it 🙂

If you want to wish someone well on their birthday, do it!! No harm, no foul.

I milk mine for all it's worth! Of course, it's New Year's so on New Years Eve at midnight or thereafter the festivities, if they don't wish me a happy birthday, I blow it off, but it secretly bothers me. Really depends on who though. My best friends, my kids, my boyfriend mean more than other people.
