As I mature I also have to discern when to yield to the feelings and emotions of those seeking advice. I can be unemotional and a bit detached at times so this is a learned behavior that I exercise often.

What I propose is that we learn from one another! Gems can throw a dash of sugar in their delivery to represent the class and grace of the Cappy way. Cappy's sprinkle a l bit of pepper in yours to represent the fierce and feisty Gems. 😉

My sun sign is Gemini and my moon in Capricorn. Also, when I'm in a room or situation with another gemini or similar personality, I soften the blow for the person receiving the advice or criticism. Its part of my dual nature to be the harsh boss or nurturing friend. So I restrain my harsh hand and offered a gentle one. I hope this makes sense to you. I was with a Cappy man for 7 years and I would beg him sometimes for his blunt and honest opinion. He wouldn't and we are still like strangers partly due to that.

I understand what you are saying. I have air sign relatives, and I've noticed that the detachment diminishes the level of sensitivity. Someone can criticize their actions without them getting offended because they can detach from that action, look with that person at the situation as a whole, and agree or disagree. A Cap, on the other hand, can be attached to everything he/she does, so if you criticize the action, you are criticizing him/her and it feels personal. That sensitivity was probably why your Cap was never blunt with you, being extremely cautious not to offend. Personally, I'm only harsh to my immediate family members, but at times I'm a bit cautious with them as well. Oh, believe me, I think it, but I restrain myself, like you, because you never know what's going on inside of that person.
