He clasps my hand or he takes me in his arms. Something solid, which was there from day one and keeps growing, steadily. It surrounds us and protect us. People in the street, strangers, comment on how beautiful we are together. When I'm busy, surrounded by a sea of work and paper, he's making me tea, tidying the house. And likewise. Water bottle to calm his anxious stomach, the smell of fresh laundry, simple home-made meals and conversation, walks to clear the mind, and each continuing their lives. We're busy right now but we're not losing sight of each other. Quite the opposite. Humour and irony amongst tears as someone close to us passes away. Quietly gentle and stubbornly hard; team Virgo and Capricorn.
