What do Caps do when being hurt?

I am a Cap woman. Last week I met a guy on an online-dating website. He was so nice and polite in his words, so I accepted his invitation for a dinner. But then when the time came, he made me wait for 3 hours and left me hanging after that without any messages. When I got home asking him the reason and stated my anger, he shortly replied "Sorry for that" the day after. You could feel how angry and disappointed I was, I did nothing but blocked him and cut all contacts with him. I wonder why so many people want to play games with others. That is the reason why we Caps are so cold and distant. Once we let you in, you let us down. Don't ask me why I never want put my trust on somebody.

So what do you do when you are hurt and betrayed?

Find a distraction, a new book, hobby, cinema.. something like that.

And there are more good people in the world than bad, don't let one idiot ruin your view of life. I agree that you should be careful who you let in, but I think it's far better to go through live, trusting people and risking being hurt. It's better to do that than never trusting anyone.

At the end of the day, if you don't trust others, then when it really matters, you won't be able to trust yourself.
