What do you Caps think about

people who have no tact?

I find them refreshing and honest. The lack of tact doesn't bother me at all. Unless they are rude or embarrassing me, I kind of like them.

Just wondering how other caps felt.

Ha ha I was just thinking about this earlier. I have no tact at all, except for when the situation or environment calls for it. When I am being tactful unnecessarily I feel restrained, like i am slowing down with no purpose.

Sometimes I get annoyed with really tactful people because they can probably get along with more people and have a better reputation. But it doesn't really matter to me, unless the person is embarrassing me!

I think caps lack tact, but its not of the unaware/innocent type of lack of tact, its more like they kind take joy in being rude to people. Seems to be a cardinal sign trait. They think everyone is competing with them all the time.

It's not rude.

It's cutting through the shit, and getting the show on the road.

No time for tiptoeing around when we all know the end game.

Im not gonna try to convince you that it is actually possible to be 100% honest yet considerate of people's feelings all at the same time, Im not gonna try to convince you of that cause it is a foreign concept to Caps 😛

To be considerate of other's feelings, my feelings must be ignored (by me and them).

No worries mate, I just call it CapSpeak 😛

I can lack tact, but usually only when someone wants my honest opinion. IRL I'm pretty mute until then. I don't give my opinion when it's not wanted or just talk to hear my voice. When a person want the 100% truth though, I spill it and really don't think of how it's coming across...I just spill.

So its either I'm mute, or I have no filter...and it's no inbetween.

When I feel challenged in any way, I do become real honest then. I don't like to be challenged. I never try to hurt anyone's feelings, but somehow saying the reality of a situation does just that.

I get annoyed when people try to be honest with me in a tactful way. It just feels so condescending for some reason.

I dont understand why some people here believe that you NEED to do your talking fast in order to achieve the optimal level of honesty. To me this comes across as wanting to have an intimidating effect on the person rather than wanting to be completely honest with them.

The argument that Caps aim for effectiveness and wasting as little time as possible in their speech is no excuse, its a lack of respect because it gives other the signal that you dont consider them deserving of your time.

And yet so many of you wonder why you fail miserably in relationships? 😛

Relationships of all kinds, require patience, time and effort, they are not some business venture that need to be valued in terms of effectiveness and productivity.

there's some/few out there with successful marriages ect. ie. Kate middleton, (but i think it's cause she has alot of libra in 7th house so she has NO fear of relationship and clingyness) and her aquarius venus wants to be married to ROYALTY.

i like bluntness, but being clumsy with how you speak to your audience is a little different, imo. i'm either indifferent to it or forgiving. how can anyone really always know all the right things to say anyways?

as for myself, perhaps its pisces moon, but some level of sensitivity with whom i'm speaking to is always there. and sometimes i can be blunt if i think that person needs a little dose of brutal honesty.

any time i've ever been careless with my words and misunderstood, OR miscommunicated was mostly while in work mode. very easy to forget about feelings in that mode. it's not intentional. just a byproduct of trying to get a job done.
