when is this cap guy ever going to.....

I have been going out with a cap guy for about 2 months we text regularily and see each other every weekend. He asked me to be his girlfriend officially about 3 weeks ago. He tells me he really really likes me and i can tell by the way he treats me that he does. We are not sexually active (both virgins) but we do have a "controlled" passion lol between us. We are really into each other and share common interest. We have lots of fun when we are together.
My question is..... Most guys usually say they love me when we are in a relationship and use emotioncons such as

I just wanted to say... don't worry about the emoticons ! They don't really mean anything... and they should NOT be interpreted as some kind of meter in knowing his level of feeling for you.

OP, consistency is the key. If you truly want him, love him, don't ever give up. He'll be impressed with your consistency and your devotion to him. It's hard to not give your entire heart to him, when you're falling. Patience, patience, patience. Sometimes it may take eternity but if you really love him, and it's mutual, it'll be good.

Should I hold back from expressing my growing feelings until he mentions his? How does that work with cap guys? Do they want to be the one to tell you first?
I can be patient waiting on him if thats the way to go. I just would like opinions regarding whether I should keep quiet or speak up?

No one wants to be the first ! I can be scary ! I'd keep it quiet... for now. Wait and just see what happens over the next few months. You are both very young... there is no rush. To let things unfold naturally is to enjoy this moment... don't worry about tomorrow... tomorrow will come soon enough... all any of us really have is TODAY.
