well…..😅 it’s been said that israel has tremendous power over the US for some reason so people in the spotlight are afraid to openly criticize israel for fear that their careers might end or worse, they’ll be unalived lol 😅 that’s the shortest explanation i guess ? 😅 i can’t confirm it though. maybe Solo or someone else here knows more about israel’s influence on the US.

i think i briefly mentioned about the powerful jewish elites in this thread too but i try to separate government from the people so i try not to lump regular israelis together with those handful of jew elites accused of doing very dark things. cuz i know regular israelis have nothing to do with that. most of them will look at you all perplexed when you mention the elites. they won’t know what you’re referring to. regular israelis are just normal people living their lives.

You're basically assuming everyone from a group commits xyz crime. There's no problem wanting bad people to be held accountable for their crimes. There IS a problem lumping everyone together and assuming everyone means harm. People aren't usually labeled fascist or racist for asking a question, they're called that because of the narratives that they push that don't match reality and even when shown data/evidence they don't give a fuck and continue believing what they want. If I started saying that gays wanna destroy the nuclear family and spread AIDs and depopulate us, you'd probably think I was a homophobe, right? A fucking dipshit, right? Because it's not true. I don't think anyone is saying that there's no people out there that may try to come do horrible shit. That's just the nature of the world. What people like myself are saying is that the overwhelming majority of western Muslims or people that wanna come to these places are fine/want to assimilate. There's no reason for the narratives how they are. It ends up distorting real threats by widening the scope and removing pressure where it needs to be. In the US, for the last 30 years or so, we've all been way more at risk of domestic right wing terrorism than any other. Yes, I see your point, but he attacks the messenger more than the message. I feel like you need to be having this conversation more with him than me. I do not do that to him until he starts with it. I try to have open dialogue with him, but he’s exhausting to deal with when he starts attacking me rather than what is said. I’m not his punching bag and don’t have time for arguments that devolve into ad-hominem attacks. I always go for the angel of arguing his message with my view point without attacking him until he starts it.

Not only that, but property rights are in the constitution. COPA is a bizarre and unprecedented attempt to make the city co-owner of every covered property. It would, under the guise of housing regulation, undermine the basic legal framework that guarantees the right of an owner of private property freely to sell his land.

COPA's biggest problem might be its violation of owners' private property rights. By forcing them to sell to qualified entities who invoke their right of first refusal, New York City would deny owners their right to disposition.

Great, more tax payer money will need to be used to strike down this illegal and unconstitutional law. I foresee this going to the Supreme Court.

I admit that I’m beginning to research it more.

My first thoughts about it is that it is government overreach and unconstitutional.

COPA's biggest problem might be its violation of owners' private property rights. By forcing them to sell to qualified entities who invoke their right of first refusal, New York City would deny owners their right to disposition.

Washington DC has had TOPA since the 1980s. (Tenants). San Francisco, CA has had COPA since 2019. They haven't been challenged yet so it's unlikely unless someone just wants to harass someone. Prettttttty sure that they're not unconstitutional.

Property taxes make it so you are “leasing” your property/house to the government. If you fail to pay property taxes, they can come in and take it away from you even if your home is paid off. That doesn’t seem right at all and violates the property rights amendment in the US Constitution. Doesn’t seem like freedom to me at all. It is why federal government cannot get property taxes. Imagine being an elderly on a fixed income and not being able to pay. The property taxes go to school districts. Why should people who do not have kids that go to the school be forced to pay?

But it’s something that needs challenged at the state level because the federal government doesn’t collect property taxes. That’s why local elections are very important. A senate bill in my state was introduced to amend the state constitution to stop collecting property taxes. Got to get a Republican governor in to sign it.

(don’t get at me about my shit punctuation tho 😂 i’m just lazy). also lived in canada for a few years. the thing is, black americans are not the only people killed by cops. in fact there are more white people killed by cops each year than blacks. the only difference is that those deaths aren’t televised and used for political gains.

My take: 'Leftists' in the West see the reports of mullahs fleeing or dressing in street clothes (brave lot there), and realize if they accurately report on WHY there are protests in Iran, people in western nations might start realizing Leftists are doing or attempting to do the same exact things to them that the mullahs were doing to the Iranian people.

My beliefs really have not changed. I just never embraced the progressive Democrats. The squad is what made me wake up to the direction that the Democrat party was taking.

The progressives are the far left just like they have liberals and moderate. They are the ones that wanted to push taxes in 1909, even after in 1890 they were found unconstitutional while the conservatives tried to kill it. Then in 1913 when the democrats had full control, they passed and made the federal reserve act the central banking system, which took the power from the people and into the hands of special interests. ie the elite, America Oligarchy to keep us enslaved. They enslaved a whole country to work and make them richer while we all stay poor.

Not to mention, Trump released all of the Kennedy files. Turns out that JFK was an inside job because JFK was going to return to using silver instead of the dollar.
