If my sun is in 4th house and my partner's sun is in 11th house, does that mean his sun is in my 4th

is his sun in your 4th or not? do they have the same sign?

I don't know what you mean. I did a synastry chart with Astro.com
At the bottom it comes up as "Aspects between both. I just want to know how to read it
It says my sun is in 4; his sun is in 11
My moon is in 6; his moon is in 11.... and so on.

Using moon as an example this time, does that mean his moon is in my 6th house and vice versa? Is that how you read it

1. are you sure it is synastry and not composite?

2. what is the sign and the degree of his Sun?

3. At which signs and degrees does your 4th house start and end?

4. Example: if his Sun is in Aries 3° and your 4th house begins at Pisces 27° and ends at Aries 15°, then his Sun is in your 4th.

I noticed that astro.com in their "Short Report - Partner" section uses the word house in three contexts:

1. as in the composite chart.

2. as in his chart

3. as in her chart.

So anything said like "Sun in the 10th" in the first part is applicable to the whole partnership is one body. It's not your Sun. Nor his. It's the Sun of your partnership.

People who date and are not an item yet should use synastry chart. Not composite.
Here is a link for calculating the synastry chart:
