The combination of fire and water

So I have a chart of almost exclusively water and fire signs with all of the signs in each element being represented at least once. I've read before that people with this sort of combination has trouble controlling their emotions and I've known this to be true although my Scorpio moon makes these emotions internal for the most part. I was wondering if any of you who have the same element combination have experienced this as well?

I am mostly fire and water, with some air and almost no earth.

I would describe myself as having emotions that are hard to control. I have gotten better at it as I get older. Mars is in Aries so my temper flares up quickly.
