gem monkey && aqua dog

I had such a difficult start with him...but the longer I stay with him the stronger I feel. I've read that monkeys don't supply enough emotional stability to the dog. Have any of you ever in these signs dated— I don't want to leave him feeling unsafe. No matter how my mood swings come about at the end of the day I love him so.much!!! I'm just scared that I won't be emotionally strong enough and he will leave me.....that would be....heartbreaking. insight!!!!!plz.

My understanding is that the monkey is flighty until they find the right person/time.... and then they're good to go as far as relationships go. You're 21... don't stress so much about future heartbreak before it even happens.

Secondly, if you have the desire to not make him feel unsafe, then chances are, your actions will follow suit.

The best thing you can do, is build an open communication between the two of you. Where he feels safe to tell you how he feels without being dismissed by you, and the same back in return. It may be a stretch at such a young age, but learn to communicate (both speaking and listening).. and learn that all reactions as a listener (good or bad), will be sensed by the speaker.

It gets better over time. And I do realise that I get onto him with certain remarks but that is only because I disagree. Maybe I need to find a better way to communicate when irritated.
