'Tis that time of the year again and that means many a family gatherings. Since I have a boyfriend, that means double of everything: two thanksgivings and two Christmases (and double the food and presents, WOOT! WOOT!) Haha, but seriously, I was already told about a Thanksgiving party at my boyfriend's aunt's house, and I am already planning my holiday outfits.
In case you're wondering why on earth I'm planning so early, let me tell you that I ABHOR shopping malls. That means that I do all of my shopping online. As an attempt to plan early enough to give me time to return something that might not fit or work out, I've decided to start bookmarking some clothing items online to purchase.
So here is my dilemma (and the purpose for my title), I don't know what color hat to wear (First World Problems at its best.) I have this Christmas outfit that I will SHAMELESSLY wear twice (to my family's party and my boyfriend's.) I've got black tights and black boots, a deep red dress, a deep green sweater, a black purse, and...should I wear a white hat, a cream hat, a black hat, or a deep red hat? I am so torn. I will most definitely be wearing a hat because I love hats and winter time is as good a time as any to wear one. But I'm not sure whether to match my shoes/tights/bag to a black hat, or match my dress to a red hat, or add another dimension by wearing a cream or white hat that doesn't match with anything I have on.
I plan to wear black mascara, a glittery dark green smokey eye, and red lipstick. Jewelry and perfume will also be included.
Any advice?
For thanksgiving, I am just going to wear tights and an oversized sweater, boots with fun boot toppers, and a fun beanie and a long necklace - totally going for cozy and roomy (for all the foodz.) 😄
Thoughts on my hat? Also, any of you ladies and gentlemen clothes shopping/planning ahead? What are some of your favorite things to wear to holiday parties this time of year? *^____^*

What's your fave online shop?
I always find clothes I like online.. but am too scared to get anything in case it doesnt fit. I know you can send it back and get another size, but it seems like such a hassle.
Thoughts??
for me, I love the colours, brown, black and some red/oranges to a lesser degree.
my man likes red/black. those are his fave.

Has anyone tried this? Is it worth shelling out the $100? I don't have a lot of dimples but it has definitely worsened over the past year after a long hospital stay.
I had a phone interview earlier this afternoon and they set me up to come in tomorrow morning but it's 1am and I'm realizing I don't really have anything to wear? ?
Is this ok?

I went shopping for summer clothes, but the next thing I know, I got two jacquard-cloth high-necked dresses in black and olive green, respectively. The clothes I own are all jewel tones, black or autumnal tones — ugh.
How do I shop for summer fashion
