Since my son got a car and a job I see him for dinner, maybe twice a week. What do single people without children eat? Do you cook yourselves full meals? Suggestions?

Chop up carrots small. And potatoes small.
Put in pot with chicken stock
Cook until u can mash the potatoes in the pot so they break apart into tiny pieces.

Posted by StrudeliciousThis all sounds delicious
Usually pretty busy so my shits pre-made on Sundays. Basically basmati or jasmine rice that I season with bone broth( so damn good), some vegetables( usually asparagus), and a protein, usually salmon or chicken. If I get some time to myself or cooking for a date, I like to make new recipes from scratch(pinterest and hell's kitchen inspired). Real riscotto is damn delicious, and time consuming, but worth it. Also, try choice beef wellington. Make my own puff pastry(insanely time consuming process), buut it's soooo goood 😏. Ooo and stuff flanksteak!! That one's fairly quick. Healthy hashbrown lasagna or casserole if you love breakfast foods as much as I do. Oh!!! Okay, so you take snyder pretzel pieces, crush them up into a bit flaky powder, choose some viscous substance to make sure crumbs stick to chicken( i use mayo, dijon, mustard, or season up some egg yolk), and then bake them, or deep fry if you want. i prefer baked. Them badboys are todiefor

Posted by LostinmyMind11Same. I am currently just alternating between pb & j and quesadillas, but I can only eat so much cheese. Quiche sounds like it could be interesting though. I think cooking is going to be my new obsession.

I'm weird...I get into moods where I will eat the same thing for weeks, get sick of it and move onto something else for weeks. It makes cooking for one a lot less of a hassle lol.
But I do salads, crustless quiches (bacon cheeseburger, sloppy joe, a breakfast one etc), pot roast, loaded cauliflower casserole, baked chicken...
