Alright ppls.. I've been cutting back on some meat intake (ha ha ha...not that way 😏😂😉)

Anywho. I've been looking into some meatless recipes n whatnot n have come across mushroom burgers and I'm interested. Anyone have any recipes? Tips or tricks or idk, anything to chime in with?

Or even just mushroom recipes in general I suppose.

Thanks in advance! 🙃

Never made a mushroom burger ....i guess you could mince/grind the mushrooms and add the ingredients you would for a normal patty ...

🤔

Most of the recipes I've seen for a burger do it that way. Altho, I have seen a couple whole portobello burgers and even a "steak" marinade n then ya grill it.

Thanks for your recipes, they sound good! I'm definitely gonna have to try em!

There was this one mushroom thing I made. Not much of a recipe. Not sure what it was called, but the mushroom is the main part and you build off of it. I usually just eat baked mushrooms by itself by the loads. I love them, but I rarely use them as a main ingredient.

You need a large portabella cap, preferably something the size of hockey puck. Layer on some cooked quinoa, a tomato slice, salt and pepper the tomato, add spinach, and thick cut shredded mozzarella. Cook that at 350 or so on the oven until the mushroom is cooked and that's literally it. All done.

I do remember telling myself that next time I do this again, I'd start the mushroom in the oven by itself with drizzled olive oil so it could cook better. iirc, if they all go in at once, the toppings will finish before the portabella cap so 5 minutes of alone time for the mushroom doesn't hurt if you want your caps fully cooked and meaty rather than somewhat delicate

Mmm, it's like a pizza! Sounds delish I'll have to give it a try!
