Are Virgos simply another kind of Gemini?
I dont think so, I don;t like virgo. Guys can u help me I just found out my chart and its on my profile...what does this thinsg mean...my rising in Virgo and stuff jeezzz.....
a bit of physical attributes are common btween these 2. rest all are way diff.
What are the similar attributes then? there must be atleast some commonalities besides the mutability thing right?
1) sharp minded, sharp wit and critical, more rational and logical, more cerebral and excessively intellectual a trait that is more distinctly Geminian than Virgoan or else the two are similar that way. Less emotional and sensitive compared with some other signs - Geminis are probably more completely emotionally detached than Virgos, Geminis being more intellectually systematic and Virgos have more emotionally expressed facets, I don't know.
2) same freakin' ruling planet Mercury.
3) both us and them speak fast, move fast, think fast, eat fast, lol.
4) When we Geminis are slim and thin and fit our bodies resemble slim,thin and fit Virgos, like theirs our bodies are electrically expressive both Gems and Virgos have prominent hands and fingers for example. Theirs' being an Earth sign probably have more fat big boned people though. Geminis and Virgos probably have similarly fast metabolisms.

Mercury is only the temporary ruler of Virgo... until vulcan is discovered. Actually, Mercury makes Virgos restless and nervous, (although it does make them intelligent and gives them beautiful eyes), so probably Virgos will be happier when Vulcan will be discovered...
And the differences:
1. Geminis are extroverts, meet new people easily, love to have fun, while Virgos are shy, more introverted, more serious.
2. Geminis tend to be more superficial, whether it is in getting to know something, or making friendships, or even romance. Virgos like to delve deep into everything and analyse it, and they make more lasting friendships, and usually have few love affairs.
3. Geminis have got a lot of imagination. Most Virgos have few.
4. Virgos are much more altruistic than Geminis. Virgo is the sign of service, they like to help people, and the call of duty is very strong in them. Geminis are not like that.

I'm a female Gemini (with Moon in Libra, Mercury and Venus both in Gemini) and I've been considering starting a romantic relationship with a male Virgo (whose Moon is in Pisces, Mercury and Venus both in Virgo). Is there any hope?

I've read somewhere on the internet that Gemini is androgynous and we have two sects we have a masculine day sect Gemini itself and our feminine night sect is Virgo itself.
