Astrology is the devil?

Soooo I got my birth chart reading and had to ask my parents for my time of birth and got it. But then they question me about why I need it and I told them how I'm into getting my chart read and they were like that's the devil. I'm like HOW? Lol like everything is either sin or the devil I wish they had more of an open mind. Anyone else ever been told that?

Well the only way I can describe it is Astrology is a forbidden knowlage. It scares people for some reason. I believe in Enoch, which there isn't enough time to properly go into details about that but here is my personal simplified definition of astrology. Teaching your mind how to secretly know things about people without them telling you anything about themselves, or even speaking to you for that matter. It's like you're trying to teach yourself how to become somewhat psychic on an astrology level. Personally I feel over time it will actually make you just that, because your mind is focused on the consistency within astrology and begins to dwell on it. That's what makes astrologers different from average people. Over time it becomes more related to the occult rather then simple entertainment. Religious people always fear the occult, because they don't like the idea that someone might know things their books and churches don't teach, or just write it off as blasphemy.

I feel you. I love just being able to arm myself with knowing who I'm either dealing with or up against. Then their personality kicks in along with their characteristics.its just really interesting tho. Especially when dating lol

the planets movements influence us directly, how can that be of the devil? It happens whether or not we're aware of it ?...

Christians will say believing or reading Astrology is bad.

My gem bf(he's a Christian but not strict) says, he doesn't believe in that stuff and that reading it is silly. That his only beliefs should be towards God lol. This happened when me & him were joking with each other and I told him "be careful, I'm a Taurus so you should fear my temper/anger". And that's when he said what he said. He also said; "Idc if you're a Taurus or a bull". He doesn't care when I post Taurus related things on social media, he just laughs. I also told him from what Astrology says; we're not that compatible but it may work, he just laughs and says; "look woman, I liked you from the moment my cousin introduced us and eventually took you off the market so you could be all mine so F what Astrology says. I only want you & you only and that's that!" LOL

The occult (hidden matters) is often scary to people, especially the religious zealot types

My mother was a bible basher and told me tarot, astrology etc was the devil's work, then always told me i was a very loving good person

Yes they are Christian and they weren't like this growing up. I'm grown so it's not like they can forbid me from researching it but I told them they have their beliefs and I respect them but I don't believe it to be evil or witch craft.

There were MANY prophets in the Holy Bible (Joseph interpreted dreams for the king), Ezekiel, etc. God created the heavens, stars (planets), etc. God is in control of everything and it's OKAY to have your birth chart interpreted. When we dream I feel God sends angels to us to allow us to dream and those dreams can be interpreted on our own, ask, or just Google the meaning. There shouldn't be any guilt feelings about this as God informed Moses (yet ANOTHER prophet) to tell the people of Israel to place lamb's blood on the threshold of the entrance door to their homes in order for the first born to be protected from death as God was going to send his last plague of Egypt. Were the people of Israel questioning, "Is this voodoo, witchcraft, the occult, etc?" NOPE! They did as prophesied by Moses.

There are ppl where astrology has consumed their whole being and can't go a day without seeing what planets are affecting them today.

He says his wrath is worse. From what his cousin/my best friend says, his wrath is no joke and he fears no one, not even authority so that shall be interesting to see lol. In my head I'm like, "you're definitely new here" lmao. That's good that your mom prepared you, can't live in a bubble. We just have little to no tolerance to bs.

As much as I would love a birth chart reading, im scared people gone look at me as if I'm crazy or something. plus I don't know nobody down here in my neck of the woods who's into that sort of thing. I like to really know the depths of my entire birth chart and aspects. I mean I know a little about it but I like to get deep in to it.
