Do People Usually Cheat Because of Temptation or Lack of Love

I did, about 14 years ago. Out of loneliness and attention seeking, selfishness and weakness of character. Than I had it done to me. Never will again. End of story.
There is no justification. I think people often do, because the relationship they are in has outlived their needs/wants. Relationships flux, there is no love that is the same daily...it's more of a daily coming to terms, daily meetings half way, balancing the give & take, personal satisfaction with self, not necessarily with the other person.
I think any act, which includes one partner and not the other with someone third, where the emotional, mental and/or physical attachment puts the second partner at disadvantage and in competition with someone third is cheating. The degree of it, the medium used to proclaim this occurrence is irrelevant. The guilt associated with secrecy points automatically to conscious wrongdoing.

Never did, any of the above. I respect myself too much I guess in that area.
Was I tempted? hell yeah but never did it, never will.It's disgusting and disrespectful.
I was cheated on, maybe that'w why I can't do it to someone that I care or love. It hurts too much.
For me personally cheating is anything physical that is obviously incorrect. Kissing, fucking, any type of oral, any type of physical contact where both or one of the persons is naked or half naked, any sort of "sexual" touching of the other person is cheating. Any form of physical contact other than hugging etc.
I honestly just CANt bring myself to cheat even if i had brad pitt naked throwing himself at me lol. I mean id feel REALLYYYYYYY bad after I cheated and super guilty specially if i slept with them. Guaranteed if i cheated, I'd end up telling the person what I did and breaking up with them. I couldnt keep it to myself the guilt would eat away at me too much.
Once im in a relationship, my thoughts and everything else go solely to THAT PERSON. BOOOOO venus in cancer!

I think that "RNAP" got hurt and she's on the proverbial war path against Gems now. Maybe she needs to see that if she was any sign for instance, that she would've gotten hurt regardless of it being a Gemini. Maybe she needs to realize that the Aries woman's obliviousness ultimately is something that she's hasn't learned to recognize yet. It wasn't the Gemini that hurt her, it was her own naivety that did. But, we still lover her, right? And will spank those bad Gemini men that made us all look bad in her wonderful eyes. 🙂
eeek....the guy who cheated on me religiously was actually Aries/Taurus. Cheating is not really a sign thing...more of a weakness of character...just like not all Gems are light in stature...I know a couple that are 150 lbs over their weight.

I have never cheated on anyone. Can't say for sure no one has Evers cheated on me. I can only say I have never caught someone cheating on me. Lucky, maybe.
All I can say is if you have made an error in judgement once, we all make mistakes. If you have cheated more than once, then I question you overall integrity. And yes it is cheating if you are single and the other person is in a relationship just as much as if you are in a relationship.

I feel like there are two kinds of people in this world. Those who will cheat under any circumstance and those who will NOT cheat under any circumstance. I happen to be the latter. I just don't have it in me to cheat.

Gemini's flirt when they're sure that it will be accepted and reciprocated. Lets just say that... we got a knack! For me, I look, laugh, smile, say some clever shit, play a manipulative mental game (Just to see what the deal is with the chicks state of mind), but I never EVER touch when I'm with someone else. Not only that, I'm going to include my woman in the whole "flirting" process. Wouldn't want to hurt her feelings and deal with THAT shit later. That way I'm letting her know that it's okay to flirt and I didn't flirt to get her (Gemini's don't usually end up with the "flirtee") and I will be going home to make love to HER. So long as she knows that she has to fix my ass some eggs and sausage in the morning! Oh, with buttered toast and grape jam! *slurp* jk
I have a saying: "I'd rather love my woman 100 different ways than to try and love a 100 different woman." It's really not hard, I'm a Gemini! But a developed Gemini. I've got Earth in placements that keeps me grounded to a point, and I don't waste energy on a bunch of bullshit. Which includes ducking and dodging some broad who I'm playin. I'd rather not play. Have I cheated? That's complicated. For instance: Is it cheating when you are in a "On again, Off again" situation and you sleep with someone in between— See, I do! Because your heart and your energies are still attached to that person. But, that's me. In that case, then yes I have cheated. But, I don't believe in the "You are my woman and I am your man" bullshit! If I'm with you I'm putting ALL of my energies towards you. In my relationships "We" don't even notice the world around us.
I relate all of this to marriage. To ME, marriage is nothing more than a "Con"tract between two people that don't fucking trust each other. I mean, I'm sure if you are a person that believes in the "Messiah" you wouldn't think that He is going to ask for your damn marriage certificate to prove that you're married, right? That's not intelligent to think that way.
When you commit your spirit to a person then that's all that's needed. From that point you are MARRIED! If you view it like that, then ask yourself: "How many times have I actually been married?" and hopefully you guys can process "Relationships" differently. I hope this answer any questions and helps anyone that needs this information. 🙂

DEPENDS. Obviously if they are flirting i wont like it. I'll be annoyed but if its nothing major i'll just give my partner a dirty stare to make them know im not happy with them and i might let it go.. but if i really dont like it then i'll pull them to one side and be like wtf etc etc etc and if they are just being a pig infront of me then i'll confront them and prob have an argument and if im angry enough i'll tell the girl to go fuck herself.
OR i'll just leave the place without saying a word. and if my man asks me anything about whats wrong? i'll say something smart/sarcastic to him to let him know what my problem is and prob ignore him for a bit.

If a woman has a problem with me being friendly and misconstrues it as "amorously" then I have me one weak, foolish woman on my hands and will kick her to the curb and leave alone. Or, I will continue to "flirt" just to make here leave. Yeah, I'm in that kinda of a mood tonight. 😄
It's about intention. If I'm flirting, there's no serious intent behind it. I'm not trying to attract someone. Mostly, it's just pure friendliness and a way to connect with people (especially Libras, who are big flirty pants themselves). If I see that the one I'm flirting with is starting to take it seriously, then I stop immediately. Plus, I never use sexual innuendo.
I can tell what intention my partner has when he's speaking with women. In the past, I've had partners that were obviously way into flirting with a particular women at a particular time and were eating up the attention. They were taking it too far. My method of handling it was never graceful- I would pull my partners aside and confront them immediately. Usually with glowing red eyes and flaring nostrils.

To be honest, I think cheating is a societal thing. I mean, everybody's looking for a better deal. The mainstream media paints a picture of a false perfection and people go out and try to find it. People, in general, are stupid. At least that's my view. But a great reckoning is on it's way. 😉

My ex cheated on me 2months after we became "official" because he didnt really know how he felt. I broke up with him after that and he must've made his mind up that he wanted me because he fought tooth and nail to try and win me back and we ended up together for 2years. dont remember my ex's placements.

I for one have not.. and I dont think I would no matter how big the temptation was. Reason im asking is because I was having a ... lets say "discussion" with my taurus friend last night and she contradicts herself. Says cheating isnt good and shouldnt be done but that "everyone" will eventually cheat at least once in their life because thats how society is and because "humans" have that animalistic need to f*ck someone else... So she has cheated on her libra bf time and time again.. but obviously if it was done to her, she would leave him in a heart beat. I also realised how different we were (me gem [mind] - her taurus [physical pleasure and sense] because I kept asking her WHY she would want to cheat and she kept coming out with "its just the feeling of the moment you have to go with it" LOL.. where as I was saying to her, that NO, no matter what feeling you have, in your HEAD in your thoughts and your mind you KNOW what your doing is wrong, you KNOW what your about to do is wrong. And then she was like "cheating just happens" and i said no it doesnt "just happen" its not like getting a phone call.. THAT JUST happens.. cheating doesnt. I said to her.. ur not standing in the club or in the street and a guy comes by and grabs you and starts kissing you, I told her, obviously you start talking, flirting, and then you know where its leading from there and its YOUR decision, you know when his about to go in for a kiss, its up to YOU to go along with it or pull back and be like wtf?. You HAVE an option. ANd then she comes out again with the "feeling of the moment, the passion" LOL.
I dont agree with that at all. I just think when you cheat its because your losing your attraction/feelings/love for that person and you dont feel the way you used to as much. I cant explain when MEN cheat and they say "but I love her" etc etc... if you REALLY loved her (and i dont mean being in love [thats a phase]) I mean when you just love the person.. how can you possibly bring yourself to undress someone else, kiss them, put your hands on them, and let them be inside you or get inside them..
Personally, before I cheat, I would break up with that person and then do whatever it is I wanted to do. If I cheated I just couldnt look at my partner the same way and I know id lose respect for them and eventually just become detached from them.
