Hi. I am a Taurus involved with a Gemini. From everything I know this is a relationship that requires a lot of compromise and communication - we have had small disagreements before but are now in the midst of a blow up that has my Gem not speaking at all. As a Taurus, the silent treatment does not work for me, but I know better than to push the issue right now. Any advice on how to end the fight and get back in my Gem's good graces?

*as a side note...I accused them of lying. They say they didn't but I'm unsure.

Thanks.

A Gemini giving a silent treatment?!

Is this a first? Do we even know how to do it?
I think the moon has a lot to do with that. I had a gem sun/scorpio moon, get mad at me and then ghost me for 4 months. SMH he now knows that I don't respond to that and to put that gem merc to good use and talk about it. So, y'all can do it when y'all want.

Hiya:-) how are you?

I will say it, I never give the silent treatment. If I'm ignoring someone it is because I have lost all interest. 😢

You are a Taurus, you must have mastered it in the womb lol

LOL that's what I told him, seriously, you tried the silent treatment on a Taurus, hahaha!

Things have changed though since then, so it's all good.

I'm good, how are you??

Likewise likewise :-)

Good for you. Silent treatment does nothing to help build a bridge, now if moving on is the goal, then that's where the natural ability at the silent treatment comes in handy.

Need more info...

What was the argument about, specifically?

What did he lie about? Why are you unsure?

What was said that has him on ghost mode?
Said they were working late so I went by to surprise with dinner. Wasn't there. I accused of lying. Seemed realistic to me. Was told he was running an errand for boss- which could also be true except the entire office was dark - so not entirely realistic in my eyes. This created an argument which prompted him to ask for time and space - not entirely ghost, but from what I know of Gem's -- it's thinking time and I'm afraid of what the outcome may be.

Call his work and mention that you stopped by at x time on y day, were they open? See what they say. Verify his 'story' if you have doubts. Once you know either way then you'll know how to deal with his distance now.

my mom thought about divorce recently and they've been married over 45 years. smh. like really? You're 68 get over yourself woman.
It's sad that you laugh at your mother's unfortunate situation. 68 does not equal lifeless in the ground.
Who the fuck is laughing? See this is what I hate about people online. They automatically assume and cast stones simply because of one comment without asking the necessary questions. Do you know my parents relationship? Do you honestly?

But let me enlighten you a bit. My father cheated, for years, my mother stayed and went through a whole bunch of bullshit with him. Now after 45 years when my dad is old (76) she decides that NOW she wants to leave him? Why? Because she sees her daughters aren't afraid to leave their spouses?

You don't know my mother. You don't know how selfish she can be. For her to stand there and allow my ex to abuse me for 9 years and still side with him and want him back into the family, so I can be the last one standing with that one partner for life...she doesn't want to feel alone. what does that tell you?

she doesn't want to feel like an idiot for staying with my dad. she envies the fact that none of her daughters were afraid to walk away from a relationship and we were self-reliable.

still love my mom, but i'm not going to sugar coat shit simply because she gave birth to me.

BTW Ignorance is prevalent...thanks for confirming it to me.

Or perhaps she was inspired by her daughters strength and bravery and wants to seek happiness as well.
