I dated a Gemini Sun with Venus in Taurus as a Scorpio with Scorpio in Venus. I have a Libra sign in my chart but that's it for me. I think you can imagine that we did not see eye-to-eye on much of anything. I remember him to be brutally honest and blunt. There was no beating around the bush with this one. He was also completely capable of thinking and feeling entirely on a separate plane. I could not understand it at all. The stuborness of the Bull clashed with my fixed Scorpio nature frequently. Our arguments could go on for hours. Neither was a fan of losing, and it was very much a power struggle, especially on my side because Scorpio.

Granted, he was graduating university and moving from intern to hired employee, but he did not commit to me. We moved around a lot between dating and nothing, and I forced him to settle for nothing because I liked him too much to settle for less. I sometimes regret making this stand, but as he has since moved on with an Aquarius, I've chalked this one up as a loss and moved on, especially because I was never sure what he wanted from me.

Just my own experience.

Thanks for all your replies, Gems! What are you like in relationships? I know Taurus's are super tactile, does that happen with Taurus placements?

I have taurus venus and mercury. As well as virgo moon and lots of cap.

I never really fit the 'flitting and easily distracted' definition of gems in relationships. I feel i relate very much to the taurus bits. Slow and reserved at first, but once im in..im in. I dont like to change once ive invested so much, sometimes its bad cuz i should just have walked a long time ago. But i try to make it work.

For a gem, talking about the heavy stuff is hard for me to do. Taurua merc makes it harder i think. So i tend to bottle it up until it explodes and comes out wrong. I prefer to show how im feeling vs explaining. I feel like i dont explain things correctly, like i cant find the right words. Its frustrating.

So yea in a relationship physical side is very important to me, its where im comfortable expressing myself.

I have always been drawn to water signs. My boyfriends have been scorp, pisces, scorp. No cancer ever. I get along with cancers fine though. I find them a little touchy though, more easily offended and that can be rough cuz like i said it doesn't always come out right for me. I need someone willing to ride it out until i can figure out how to get my point across instead of getting upset and giving me the silent treatment.

Ive also never really dated someone heavy on air. Mostly water and earth. No experience there.
