Anger is vented anger which can be equally destructive, I let it all hang out when I go the toilet, I do have a weakness for choc chip cookies and I also try to repress this problem but it hard, I bet thats something you would not admit too. Hope this helps



Heyyyyy... I love chocolate chip cookies. Why would anyone want to repress that? You just want to present yourself to the world as a guy who just eats meat falling of the bone kind of stuff?

Ya want a glass of milk to go with that? If you're lactose intolerant, you'll have a blast in the toilet. =P

I don't think you're horrible. Anyone who likes chocolate chip cookies are like Brontosauruses compared to a T-Rex or a Velociraptor. Just maybe woke up with a bullying streak today (or was it yesterday?) but who's to say you won't wake up without one tomorrow? Or maybe I'm just projecting a Gem's changeable nature onto you and you're really Mr. Not-So-Nice, lol.

I have a "friend" who doesn't act like a friend. He's a Gem. He's such a true good friend that he hangs out with the people that stabbed me in the back a while back. OK, that's fine. I understand he wasn't there and he wants to keep the peace and opted to give the benefit of the doubt. Yet, those same people backstabbed him as well AND he keeps hanging out with them.



You know, I kind of get what your friend did, being a Gem and all. It's not really being two faced but the rationale behind that is kind of:

1) you have an issue with those who stabbed you in the back;
2) he did not stab you in the back (so he doesn't have the stab in the back issue with you);
2) he doesn't have an issue with them;
3) even if they stabbed him in the back, he chose to forgive that transgression and still be amiable/conciliatory; (which is his call to make, not yours)

So since he knows who has issues with whom, that makes it easier for him to deal with everyone without burning bridges unless and until one of the parties (say you) want to draw a line in the sand to declare loyalties. He was your friend and I'm assuming, even if he was talking to the enemy (your enemy), he was loyal to you.

There are degrees with Gems. Most of the time we're just trying to get along. As Antoine Saint Exupery said, "What is important is invisible to the eye." And we get misunderstood for this time and time again.

The logic works. It's the same logic that the United Nations use when it comes to diplomatic relations between countries and I don't think anyone will admit that there's anything trickier to balance than trying to avoid war or hostilities between states with their egos on the line.

BUT.. I do not know all the details of your interactions with him and from what you wrote, I think what your friend lacked was the maturity to handle his Gem aspects. And maturity isn't a monopoly of ANY sign.

So if he doesn't have the courtesy or respect for you to give you a heads up when your "enemies" are coming around, yeah, you're better off without him. That wouldn't sit well with me either.

Haha... spotting inconsistent statements is a Gem trait I love. =) It's interesting to watch other hardliner signs (or people regardless of their signs) wriggle out of the corner they box themselves in. That's why Gems make good use of disclaimers and qualified statements.

Not only that we see right through people. He's both a drama king and two-faced.

This is what frustrates me to no end when people say we're airheads. ha. We know exactly what's going on most of the time; we just don't say anything hoping you'll go away. But if you insist, then, I'm game. lol

speechless. thank you gemtaur. & you are correct ma'am. i don't bother anyone. people just love to start with me,then come to say i am drama? NO. then when i state TRUE facts,they get mad for no reason. this is why a lot don't like me. thus they don't know me first off. so they shouldn't be quick to judge. yup i am 20. & the people here are acting like they 12. such a shame.

Yeah, she just called me a douchebag in another thread but name calling like that -- I don't know. I'd expect something better from someone who's spent half a century on earth already.

P-ANGEL -- Negativity doesn't do anyone any good but I guess you don't know that because you thrive on it like a pumped up meth addict looking for your next negative fix.

That still holds true. The comment made to me was in another thread that was of a more personal situation but even so, I'm not taking it personally. People say stuff all the time and it's up to one to discern how much weight to give it to.
