Try to take the imitative and hug her? but don't hug her too tightly. I don't know why she stop hugging you since there could be many possibilities like she may feel that you are not comfortable with the hug, she doesn't want to send the wrong message, she likes you but feel like you don't like her, or she likes another guy, etc. Have she hugged other guys? Does she seem to show any signs that she like you as more than a friend? If so, perhaps you should ask her out on a date? Sorry I'm not very good in the romance department 🙂 good luck.
if it were me... as i can only speak for me.... it would be one of two reasons the hugs stopped. either i was offended by something, or i found a man and i wouldn't want to do anything to make him suspicious. i've noticed with some men... even an innocent hug can cause the "cheater alarm" to go off and i value the fact that i'm faithful to a fault.
as for getting her attention back... if it were me... just talking with me and explaining your feelings to me is all it will take. so, i guess, what i'm trying to say is... she won't know unless you tell her, right?
