I must be very likeable..

If only I felt so inclined to invite everyone in. I get so tired and drained just from big groups. I don't like having a lot of friends and feel I have to put that smile on so much more when I'm around others. I prefer to be around my kids and my closest peeps.

My oldest daughter went to her 1st homecoming this weekend.. We all met at another parents house and then after we dropped them off for their dinner, we were meeting at a local pub.
I was so nervous, I hate it. I just bonded with my daughters dates mom.. (Aqua, Pisces Moon)

I truly hate social events!! I like to stay around my house and watch my kids play and see them interacting..

It effing drains me to have to hold small talk.. Why can't people just see I want to sit on my driveway stay quiet? LOL

Who else is like this?

Aww sorry to hear that WateryGem, it is a blessing and curse I suppose to feel so much and the energies surrounding you. I want to say this is the influence of Cancer Venus. I'm sure your Scorpio Moon has something to do with feeling energies as well, in a different way.

Because you are so laid back, others likely feel comfortable around you. You likely come across as someone who is more trustworthy. I get this too, when people actually feel like talking to me lol. You give off a certain energy even though you may not realize it.

I think agree with Moonbutter, it's definitely the cancer and scorp placements.

You could be right!! LOL My oldest always says I need to socialize more or that I'm too shy but what she doesn't realize is it's truly exhausting. haha

We have a lot of similar placements. I have very few friends, and most of them don't even live in the same province anymore. Social gathering.. forget it. It causes me a lot of anxiety.
I made this thread awhile ago.. maybe you can relate. And please don't think I am calling you selfish. I can just see that you like to spend your time doing what suits you and being in the comfort of your own home :3

Yes, very true but being a parent forces me to have to do things I just wouldn't typically want to do. Just like when I was with my ex I had to go to his business affairs and those were torture but he always would tell me how everyone just loved talking to me. LOL UGH!!

I do appreciate the fact that I have met some lovely women through them... I have now been friends with a mom (whose daughter is best friends with my oldest) since our kids were in 2nd grade and they just started their freshman year of high school. So that's the bright side!!
