My Gemni hamster lol

I always read Gemini's spark with nervous energy. But my gemini hamster seriously does! I always want to hold it but anyone who goes to pick it up, it will seriously jump so fast away like it just got sparked with electricity. whenever i wake up to get some water it's still awake! even at 5 am! it's so restless.
i dont know how to make it calm down, i just want to hold it.

haha awww ...well just let him get used to you, put your finger in there show him he doesn't have to be nervous, with food in it maybe ..then hopefully he'll be calm for about 2 mins! =D

With hamsters you have to get them used to something positive involving yourself,like mice races its the food that makes them remember.So second the food reward,maybe small pieces of veggies or other little treats,his/her normal hamster food might not get a big reaction.If you make yourself more visable to it more often it might lighten it up also and there's clear plastic hamster balls at pet shops also,it'll keep it safe as well as let it get used to people being around.All of my hamsters were babies when I got em so never had this problem really though...
