What Is Gaslighting in Simple Terms
Gaslighting is a form of emotional manipulation where someone makes you doubt your perceptions or reality. It is often used to gain control or power over others. Recognizing gaslighting can help you protect your mental health and establish healthy boundaries.

All signs can do this. Comes naturally to mutuables. Each do it in there own style . A positive expression on this is spinning and reframing something to find and look at the bright side of things or find the opportunity in the misfortune of the situation.

It's refusing to acknowledge a truth someone knows. A mild version would be constantly saying you're not mad when you are in fact mad as hell.

I don’t think it’s happened to me. But maybe because I don’t argue with people. I’d just end up calling them a liar and wouldn’t go in circles about it.
I would also cut them off pretty quickly. I hate liars.

Basing this off of interactions I have had on here, it’s all across the board. The worst offenders I’ve noticed from dxpnet is a Pisces, by a long shot, and a Cancer. There’s a Taurus who does this a lot too. Just based on a few observations lol.

Well, yeah, there are quite a few signs that in their negative expression can and will gaslight you. People gaslight others all the time. I find it to be a very insidious and almost undetectable thing at times because the truth is that people who are actually gaslighting you will never, ever admit it. IMO, its also is not something they are aware of themselves - most narcissists believe themselves to be just. They don't think they're gaslighting, they're just trying to convince you of the truth - their truth - the only truth that matters to them.
This, I find, is a mindset that we are being socialized with. It would follow that a society pushing narcissism as individuality and that individuality is good would have a surplus of people whose primary form of interaction is narcissistic. Monkey see monkey do.
