Why is this Gemini so emotional?

I was talking to this guy for about 2 weeks, but then I realized we didn't click unfortunately so I told him we should stop talking. I didn't think it was a big deal considering we were only talking for 2 weeks,but he started crying and talking about how everyone abandons him and he threw the biggest pity party and sent me on a guilt trip. Hes still asking if we can continue talking and other things. The thing is,I thought Geminis were very emotionally unattached? So,what placement might have caused him to be quite clingy and emotional? He was born on May 21st i believe.

they pretty much covered it... so, i will say that any powerful, heavy water placement will do it....

sounds like he was hurting before you guys even met. i dont think his meltdown was triggered by this incident alone. there's more stuff behind it.
i feel bad for the dude. ask him what's been happening in his life. he might talk. he reminds me of my lil bro (also gemini). he gets like this sometimes.

Yeah, I agree, there was a lot more to it im sure.He was really negative for some reason and I tried to cheer him up when we were talking, but it didnt seem to help at all. He was always dwelling on the past. Unfortunate.
