Thanks a million jackbutter, I will try all of that and see if it works. If not, I'm going to do what they did in that movie Office Space and beat the butter out of my computer gangster- style 🙂
Yay!!! It worked!! Thanks so much!! 🙂
P.s. Could you be any smarter??!
Damn everything to hell--it won't let me play any tracks. It says "Cannot open the device. Another application may be using it." That is such crap, I know for a fact (or at least I'm pretty sure) that there is no such thing going on. raaaaaawwwwr
Uh, I figured out what the problem was. Apparently this man who lives with me who keeps claiming to be my father hasn't installed the sound card yet or something. And until he does, I'm music-less, which is depressing because you really made me want to hear some Simple Plan stuff (Good Charlotte too).
P.S. again,
that whole, "could you be any smarter" comment, that wasn't an insult, it was actually a compliment, I forgot to chandler-ize it by making the 'be' italicized. Just for purposes of clarification. I was reading it thinking, "that kind of looks like an insult. butter."
🙂
no, that man who says we're related still hasn't installed the sound card, or something to that effect 😢
glad you weren't insulted, and not suprised you're already a genius. 🙂
thank you for asking, that was courteous
I heard "i'd do anything" by simple plan on la radio the other day -- it was good, good guitar work.
yay!
Jackbutter, jackbutter, jackbutter! Dad guy fixed the computer and now I can listen to music again. So, I'm having a Simple Plan/Good Charlotte/Ok Go/all other bands you mentioned marathon.
🙂
Yay!

dxpnet, i know this isn't your job or anything, but i was wondering if you could do me a favor and see if you can help me figure out what's going on...basically, to make a long story short and understandable (hopefully), none of my music files will play now. It used to be that Real One Player would open when I would click on a file to be played. But now, all the icons next to my music files have changed to Windows Media Player, and when I try to play a song it tells me it can't open the application because it may be in use or something like that. My question is, do you know of any way I could make it so that my music files are played with Real One Player as opposed to Media Player? I hate Media Player, I always have, it always pulls weird stuff like this.
Sorry to bother you,
PR&J 🙂
