how come...

the text style and size when I'm writing a post in the message box is completely different? It looks like Courier to me and if I had to guess the font size I'd estimate it's now like a 4 or 5. It's impossibly small, I have no vision problems and I can hardly read it. Also, where it says, "hello phoenix_rising" at the top of the page when I'm logged in, the words are all squishy-like, and they're jumbled on top of each other. Also, where it says, "update your profile/log out", same deal. All squishy and strange-looking. My dad, being a computer technician or something like that, was messing around on the computer earlier, upgrading and putting in a new sound card or something, so is it possible he accidentally changed the settings? If so, how do I get them back to what I want them to be? Everything else looks normal on the site...but here's another weird thing: if I click on something and a new box comes up, like if I open a new window or whatever, the box is itty bitty and all the text is tiny. I feel like I ate the wrong part of the mushroom. What's going on dxpnet? lol

p.s...jackbutter is allowed to chime in too...and while he's at it, he should finally tell me whether he likes zeppelin, as i asked him recently, but doubt he saw the post, it was a crazy night, jackbutter was finally on late like me, but i wasn't on, actually, i *was* on, but i was meandering around the site like a foolish...meander-er, and then by the time i answered his post, i'm sure he was off to bed, and now my post is somewhere on page two of the misc. boards i'm sure, lost in the thousands of posts that followed.

A couple more things: I did some digging on the site, and I read about how you (dxpnet.com) once had an online soap opera...where/how could I view that episode? Also, how/where do I get to see the Dunky Awards? lol.

okay well, to whom it may concern (as if anyone is), i think i figured out why the fonts are all wacky. The guy who "fathers" me has been messing around with everything on the computer, as i previously mentioned, so i'm thinking that's about the time everything got treetrunky. so, i choose to blame him in this matter. i wonder if i will get electrocuted or something if i try to install the sound card myself
