IPs and one pissed off Cat
It says why in the ip addresses:
"the ip address has been masked to allow for privacy, but we are showing this information to help users to determine whether or not other users are posting with multiple usernames."
Trolls have fucked up this forum before completely not to mention other forums that don't have the IP's,making other users not wanting to bother coming here because all they get is an error screen from nonsense bandwitch😛 or from not being able to have a productive board when it is up.Basically if it wasn't there all you'd see is lame topics full of arguements so guess its just a roll with it thing for AOL users.I get a different number every time I log in but it never comes up with someone elses screenname from just net zero.I think primegen said its labtops that are pretty much the only 100% one address in most cases.

I thought it was just my computer, went to sisters and cousins an logged in and it takes my 2-3 times of re-logging in before it takes my screen name an password and recognizes me. soemtimes it signs me in right away, but wondering what is causing this? o

What is the purpose of posting up IPs if they aren't even accurate?? Are you guys even out there?? I really like this site and have a genuine interest in astrology. I don't want to have to stop posting because some IDIOT has the same IP address and people may think I am this person/people. Because I am not. In fact I have shared IPs with others on this board that I believe are individual people too and not someone who just wants to play games. So what is the point of the IPs?
