Posted by GetMistedPosted by AstrobynIt already directs you to the last place you were at when you enter the thread.
I don't like your drop down page number solution at the top of the page.
I know i said i was happy you put something there, Its not flowing at all.
The problem is when i go to a thread I can no longer asses where I am, and where i have been, and I have to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page to see which page numbers I've clicked on, and how many page numbers I need to still read. This is extra steps and extra time.
If the page numbers were listed individually at the top of the page again, i would be able to make quick assessments and decisions about what i want to do, faster.click to expand

No not every time, if you click on a thread from the board its on it will, but if you click on it from the front page it wont.
And it still doesn't give you that heads up display overview of where you have been and how much there is to go.click to expand

Posted by GetMistedPosted by AstrobynWhat does me "owning" this site have to do with anything?
I'm sorry do I need to validate myself to you, to make a suggestion to the site?
If you want to provide me with proof that you own this site, I will be happy to delete my account.
You had a problem.. I offered you a solution to your problem.click to expand

Posted by GetMistedPosted by AstrobynA solution for you isn't necessarily the solution for the DXP population as a whole. Last time I checked.. you aren't the only user here. And I don't see too many other folks complaining. Maybe when they do.. something will be change.Posted by GetMistedPosted by AstrobynWhat does me "owning" this site have to do with anything?

and yet I've already explained to you how that solution wasn't good enough and didn't solve all the problems. So idk why your still talking about your "great" solution.
And its a problem because I don't remember asking for your help, so if i am indeed doing that because you are the person responsible for making this site better. I would rather leave.
You're free to leave whenever you'd like though 🙂click to expand

if i understand this correctly, the drop down number function doesn't let you know what pages you've previously viewed or haven't viewed and you lose your place on the thread. so you scroll down to see what pages you haven't viewed by the numbers that are highlighted.

That is not an effective solution, when we are talking about this kind of application design. It is not efficient function.click to expand
