Am I (generally) compatible with leo women ?

I'm curious, from an astrological perspective, how compatible am I with Leo women ?

Generally speaking, I tend to have great friendships with Leo men (contrary to what some of my previous threads suggested), but when it comes to Leo women, I always find a certain degree of friction.

But then I noticed this:



The third most dominant sign in my chart is Leo; and I only have Mercury in Leo, which I find a bit confusing.

I tried those compatibility calculators in astrotheme and cafeastrology; and used it to calculate the compatibility between random birth dates in Leo in various years and my own and the results are usually very pessimistic. I do acknowledge the friction between Leo women and myself, but technically, from an astrological perspective, shouldn't it be otherwise ?

Am I compatible with Leo women and its all just in my head, or my initial instincts are correct, contrary to what my chart suggests ?

All in all I'd say it could go either way. Astro.com uses some really wide orbs and might include some extra stuff, like saying your Mercury in Leo is super important. 🙂

But looking at what it says in your profile, it confirms what the chart you posted said, that there's something going on with Cancer, and Scorpio (and Leo, kind of). I'm a Leo who looooves Scorpio energy, but generally, like you know, there's lots of friction between Leos and Scorpios. And I think with having Venus in Cancer, it might find Leos kind of difficult to handle. Leos are a lot to handle.

Your Mercury would help things out a lot, though. You'd at least be able to speak our language.

Overall I'd have to rate it as a "MEH." But the people I'm interested in usually have no astrocompatibility with me, so I say fuck it. Try it. These Leo ladies will look into your eyes and see your Scorpio power and your Cancer loveliness and won't be able to resist. (But if it doesn't work out, don't come suing me, ok?)

@ Jynja: I don't think water is right for me; and I experienced more friction with Pisces than I ever did with Leo Women, not sure why.

I am genuinely asking from an astrological perspective. As I said, I test random dates on those websites "compatibility calculators" and I can see a pattern, I'm (theoretically & astrologically) very compatible with 3rd decan Scorps, 1st and 2nd decan Sag's, 1st decan caps, 1st decan Gemini's, those are the few that I remember off the top of my head.

I always thought it had something to do with the degree's of my placements and my aspects, but that's when my leo placement confuses me, its so prominent (apparently), but all the scores are really low across all the decans. So I was hoping someone can provide me with an astrological explanation, or provide me with a personal opinion about it.

Astrology calculators do not take into account character defects like (dishonesty, self pity, rudeness) they are flawed.

Aspect to the Moon and the angles are maybe the most important factor in synastry. But I don't know those without full date of birth, the exact time of birth and birthplace.

So you may want to take this little report with a grain of salt.

At least one of your Scorp placements will be making square aspects to Leo Sun and/or Leo Mercury (unless they are in the early degrees), which means possible attraction but low compatibility. If Venus is in Leo or Gemini, then this match may be too much of a challenge. Venus in Cancer or Venus would make things a way easier.

In general, I would give it a 40% ~50% compatibility.
