An Article about religion...

I found this letter written by some one in the newspaper, titled "Religion is not the cause of our difficulties today."
"In response to the letter writer of jan. 15 who bashed religion as the bottom of all evils. Perhaps you need to read your Bible a little more closely. The Old testament is not filled with anything about acquiring wealth, other than King Solomon, who aasked for wisdom first! Furthermore, the lord has given man free will, the right to choose their actions. Unfortunately, man has not chosen very well, because today we choose to live apart from the Lord Jesus Christ, because the world continually tempts us, and the pursuit of worldly things is far greater than being in relationship with the Lord. Finally, religion is not the cause of difficulties today, man is. Perhaps you should try to reacquaint yourself with the Lord who loves you."

I'm Jewish, and I STILL can't believe people look for someone or something to blame when things go wrong! People, themselves cause problems and they should look at themselves in the mirror more often! I sincerely believe that we're all responsible for our decisions and actions. Unfortunately, you can't reason with the sickos in the Middleast who continue to bomb Israel. My father told me NEVER to go there because I could get "blown up", but that can even happen in the USA!
