Ex Leo wants to be friend—

My ex Leo decided to break up with me 2 months ago. He was telling me he's wasting my time etc coz he's not into marriage and kids after 2 years relationship together but I sense that the actual reason is he wants his freedom back. Anyway I took it really well and moved on but he somehow still keeps contacting me every once in a while, telling me he misses me bla bla but never says if he wants to get back or something.

Recently he asked me if we can't ever be friends? Coz I have been distant and hardly relied his sms. I said why would he care? He now has the freedom that he wants and this is the life without me he chose to live in everyday. He then said he's sorry and confused (His rising and Venus in Cancer and Moon in Virgo) and that he will be in my town in 2 weeks and if i want to meet (I moved away recently) I spent a day thinking about it then I replied to his sms that 'we will see but only if you will bring me my fav chocolates' he then replied that he changed his mind about his invitation yesterday. I was angry and told him whatever and goodbye. he then said he's just worried in case i think we are getting back together. I said I have already moved on that he worries too much and to leave me alone from now on. My pride now is being hurt even more getting rejected from this guy again(my Rising, Venus and Mar in Leo and Moon in Aries) and cant see why he wants to be friend with me— or cant just leave me alone and respects that I need time to get over him.
