Fellow Leos! Are you traditional in relationships?

Do you all feel like you're traditional in relationships? I was talking to my scorpio gf, & she won't cook for her man, or clean up the house. when I visit her home, she's not the type to offer me something to eat. (There's nothing wrong with that!) however I'm the type of woman who not only cooks, I fix my mans plate any clean up afterward. Actually I do this even when my girlfriends come over! It's just me! Lol

I was wondering if it's a leo thing
. They say we are self centered but I feel I am very giving in this aspect. Tell me what y'all think.

I have Venus in Virgo, I am SO like that it's not funny.
And my scorp pal is the same... I find myself offering tea or coffee at her house in lieu
But yes, I find myself playing a very traditional role where domestics are concerned, unless I've had a rough week in which case I order my Cap to 'catch and kill' for both of us- and that includes desert!! 😄

I have no virgo in my chart! Idk why I like to do these things, but I think it's good manners. I thought maybe bc I'm from NOLA and we are very friendly here, however, NONE of my friends are like this! & I did not grow up in a home where my mother was like this. So idk where it comes from actually.

My venus is in virgo, and I'm absolutely like this! I just always try to assist and help where I can. And I think Leo's enjoy being domestic.

Actually I don't want to call it "domestic," I just love cooking, hate a dirty house and have always been a considerate host? And yes every single leo I know is like this so...hmmmm

It might be a matter of education. Personally I'm mirroring the way my mom treats my dad, it can be another reason, what do you think JBG ?

I don't think so bc my mom doesn't do that. She's "ms independent" 100% ! Not that I'm not, independent, but I like to cater to my guests and my man. (When I have one) My mom is a feminist who thinks she shouldn't have to do those domestic things bc she works just like my step dad does.

Nothing is wrong with her viewpoint, I just have a difference in opinion.

But idk where I get my way of thinking from, honestly.

Mars in a place like Gemini may not necessarily cater to others with service. They'll talk the whole time (cliche, I know) that person is there and consider it catering to their needs.

It hardly has to do with Venus.

It's the Leo sun's need to be seen as perfect in all things and to show that it is putting it's best into everything. And since Leo's greatest resources are the people in his world, the people get all the attention in hopes that it is reciprocated.

If a person who is ungrateful for the service comes along, Leo will discontinue it fast enough.

Also, Mars may be responsible here as well. Mars in Cancer will do the little things for a person to continue to stay in their life since they are most comfortable with the familiar.

Perhaps, Mars in Virgo will render the service as well, as a way of teaching others how to do things right.

Mars in a place like Gemini may not necessarily cater to others with service. They'll talk the whole time (cliche, I know) that person is there and consider it catering to their needs.

THIS! OMG OMG!! This is what it is! Now that you've broken it down, this is what it is. Breakthrough! I do like doing those things, but I hate when what I do goes unnoticed. I love the compliments on my cooking, how gracious I am, and how much care I take with the decor. I get a little upset if someone doesn't notice & I don't mind bringing it to their attention!

But I am the biggest compliment giver as well! I notice everything about people and what they do. I make it a point to give everyone a compliment while they're in my presence, even if it's just about their nail color.

Yes, quite traditional. I cook, clean and take care of the house and do it without complaining. I do it because I want to, for my Libra guy who is really good to me. He deserves it. Although I don't work, it's how I show appreciation and my generosity.

With regard to "traditional" relationships--

Venus in Virgo, specifically-- to be of 'service' in this capacity makes sense.

Not sure how you're ruling it out, entirely.

No. My 7th house is in Aquarius.

Nope. I hate cooking and cleaning and all that house wife type stuff.

It also has to do with the person too. If you are going to treat me like a doormat, I will not lift a finger for you. Hell you will not exist to me. Get off your ass and do it yourself. But if you treat me the way a person should be treated, I will bend over backwards to make sure you are cared for and taken care of. Mars in Cancer...Leo Venus.

I am Leo female with a lot of strong placements. moon Taurus, mars libra, venus Leo and rising virgo. I choose an unconventional relationship with a Taurus. we live apart but have been companions for 6 years. I don't cook for him because he is better cook and he knows it, lol and believe me I love it when he feeds me. Yum. but I can order a mean takeout or take him out to dinner in return and he appreciates that. we treat each other as equals and are best friends. we run errands for each other, we know each other's family and friends and we also play music and sing together. we are there for each other no matter what.

it's non-traditional in that we each do our own thing and meet up to share what is going on in our lives. we chat everyday even when we are busy even if it's only hi and bye. no one gets upset if someone wants to go somewhere and do something and plans can change according to priority. some people have said they wouldn't be able to handle a relationship like ours but we ask for what we want and need and we appreciate it. been kinda rough through the years with his cancer moon and cancer venus but he is solid in himself now so we are also solid now. Cancer venus looks for a nurturing mate and leo venus loves to do all the small things that help him feel special. he likes to do practical things to show me he cares and I love it. mars in libra likes equal give and take.
