finding this leo sun/scorpio moon man irresistibe?

I'm a scorpio sun/cancer moon and I have a venus in capricorn so I'm pretty cautious when it comes to forming new relationships.
when we first met, which was on vacation through a friend, I found him arrogant and slightly rude and had no problem standing up to him when he said something ignorant.
when we got back home I was surprised when he asked me out, but after him trying twice I decided to give him a chance. He's shown me a practical side to him (maybe his virgo venus/mars?) and I can sense he is sensitive. when he's tipsy he calls and texts me like crazy but when he's sober he acts more aloof. why do I feel so attracted to him though? I think about him 24/7. and I usually don't care for leos??_
