Go with the flow

So my friend has been into this Leo man from work for some time. He showed her interest by gazes, innuendos and some remarks about meeting when the season is over (they both work in tourism in Mallorca).
She has been obsessing about him, thinking she gave him a lot of tips, but the truth is all she said sounded more like fun, friendly stuff to me, then anything strictly romantic or showing interest.
One day she got evrryone in the office gifts with personalised inscription, everyone different. What he got was "go with the flow". She gave it to him saying "I got it for you so that you will think of me when you look at it" to which he responded "there's no need" (it's translation from Spanish, but the meaning of what he said was "no need to be reminded to think of you").
Then one of the co-workers asked him what inscription he got and he said "I'm not sure, I'm still processing it" (the inscription was in English nd he's Cuban).
That was three days ago.
Yesterday evening, after two days, my friend sent him a message informing about work stuff and in the end of the message she said " Por cierto con lo serio q estabas no he tenido tiempo a preguntar si has diregido el message q te di?,-)))bs - "You've been so serious that I didn't have time to ask you if you've processed the message I gave to you?"
It was last night, it is 10am there now and still no response. Sure, he could be busy and stuff, but what do you make of it if he doesn't respond at all?

She's my best friend, so yes, I am anxious. I am not a Leo (Taurus/Gemini cusp is quite different) and i described my own problems with a Pisces in anothe thread...
She cannot write here herself because she doesn't speak English.

As a Leo herself she should know we don't understand secret coded messages in bottles.

This is what's really going on. She want him to chase but he's like um you better tell me to chase or at the very least wag a tail... something.

Tell her to do what should come naturally and she should be fine. Although we are not all alike...who am I kidding yes we are.
