heartbreaking for a Leo friend

I haven't talked to him in a year, we tried dating but became friends years ago. The last time I talked to him he admitted to being hospitalized for attempted suicide. He's even a paramedic - go figure. Either way I think he trusts me to talk to him. But after the last time I talked to him he never returned messages and ignored me until now.

Today he called me, a tiny voice said "you know when you really need an old friend?" He went on to explain that he is really at the edge. That he needed me to talk to just to comfort. I wanted him to talk more but then he was like "No, it's ok, you're busy"... I just kept saying that I missed him and was happy he called me, that tommorow is another day. He said he was really at the edge several times. So I called him back and had changed my plans to come see him, and he said it's all ok and he was busy.

I am soooooooooo freakin scared right now. What do I say to my Leo friend here. He calls and sounds like he's crying but is too scared to talk.

There is nothing specific you can do or say to him because he's a leo. Astrology is irrelevant right now. It sounds like your friend has a major problem. If you know where he lives and know when he will be around, even if you know where he works, I would just show up. Don't wait for him to confide in you, just show up unannounced. If you can't even do that, I would contact his relatives or other friends you may know of, and inform them of his situation. Also, instead of seeking advice from a message board, I would call a suicide hotline(if it seems appropriate).
