This last friday my Leo guy texted me and said that there was an elephant in the room and that he felt like we were just going through the motions.
We talked on the phone and I really got the feeling he wanted to end it. Last time I saw him in person we talked about working on things. He said he wanted to try. I asked how that changed. For the first time if ever I wasn't emotional on the phone call. No crying, I spoke very rational to him. He said he doesn't have both feet in, and that all I am asking for I deserve. I said I do but I feel like I am running and I want to stop and hold my hand out to wait for you. He said he wasn't sure he was ok with that. I told him I was an adult and knew what I was agreeing to. I want to give it a little more time.
He wanted to figure it out on Friday night. The phone call ended up him saying that he needed to be alone and time to think. I said that I would wait to hear from him.
I am giving him his space but I am scared. Please Leo peeps, Let me know what you think.
Thanks ahead of time for your help.

Beat him to it... that wanting to Give It More Time?

No.

It would be in your BEST INTEREST to very abruptly

tell him that you don't know wtf you were thinking--

that you know you deserve someone who has BOTH

feet in, who can f-ing keep up.

Then no contact.

*LEO mind blown*

He'll wonder if he's making a mistake.

Thanks Montgomery,

I am so conflicted. I love him. But breaking it off with the Leo first will make him wonder?
Does that mean he will never come back?

Thanks. I have known this guy for 20 years and been dating him for 2 plus years. I am willing to give him some time and see what happens. I think the holidays freak him out too. Last year about this time he starting getting the same way and finally ended it right after Christmas Day. Then skip to four months down the road and he is texting me and wanting to work things out. Now here we are 6 months later. He said he is a committ-phobic. I think he identifed his probably but has yet to deal with it. I hope he is figuring it out.

Rip the band aid off already. On and off again relationships are no way to live and it becomes too easy to do over and over again. The Sanctity is lost. If somebody tells you they are commit phobic, keep walking.

No one knows the future.

But if you will take some pride in yourself and refuse to

set aside like that, your chances will improve dramatically.

Self confidence is very attractive.
