Interesting turn

The aqua returneth.

This is the guy who said how fab I am but was "geographically" undesirable. Dude with pisces moon & venus. (Emo!). We stayed in a little bit of touch through texting here and there. Told him I was attending a concert in his city, which is only an hour away next Sat. Few days later, today, he tests asking if I am attending with anyone and if not, would it be cool for him to join me? This made me giggle cus its not exactly a hip and happening concert. It's a "Tuba Christmas" concert: about 50 tuba players gather together to play holiday songs. Yeah, you aint heard Silent Night till you've heard it on a bunch of big blow horns.

My son is a classical music major, tuba is his instrument, which is why Im going. These concerts are actually quite lovely and the music is always fun. So, I said sure he could join me. Why not. Then he asked me out for today, but I passed. I need more notice for this kinda stuff. But it is nice to meet this guy. I think he's cute 🙂

i think that's fabulous and also i love the sound of all those tubas. there's something really cool about so many of one instrument at one time...i went to this thing with 1000 drummers before and it was awesome!! i secretly love christmas carols too although my parents would be horrified, lol.

you should start calling this dude and move it all to the next level of communication and DITCH THE TEXTING!! it kinda makes it a bit more real? also, if you're gonna meet him at the weekend, it would be kinda nice to have a few chats on the phone first.....get a bit warmed up??

Had a nice convo with him. It's funny, he is super funny and witty via text, but on the phone he is more serious and straight laced. Maybe it's nerves. I dunno, but he's still friggin cute 😛

My biggest problem now is what to wear. It's an outdoor concert, sitting on a blanket on the grass. It's about a thousand degrees here, so would love to do shorts or a dress. But having dinner after, so don't want to be that casual. A dress would create havoc on my lady bits wanting to pop out.

What's a girl to do? 😛

I feel some cramps coming on too 😢 Good God, if I get my period Im going to have to hit the beach and go swim in the salt water. It shortens the length of my period.

Today a patient told me he pooped *just* then as we were talking, then declined my offer to bring him to the bathroom to have himself or have somebody else help clean him up. There is no such thing as TMI. 😉

Well, if there is not such thing as TMI, let me say that I have indeed gotten my period and hopefully by Saturday the bloat will have floated away and the red river has dried up. As I was googling of ways to lessen the flow, I came across something Id never heard of before...a "Menstrual cup". It is a tampon replacement silicon doo hickey. Its made of medical grade silicon, its a small funnel like thingy that you insert to *catch* your flow. Almost looks like a chalice. I read all about it and am thinking to try it. You tube has lots of vids on it. One brand name is the "moon cup" and another which I think befits all us lioness' is the "diva cup". Cant ya just see yourself now prowling the jungle with a rubbery wine goblet up your snatch?
