Leo Guys

I have a Leo friend, he is a guy. He will do ANYTHING, literaly, to get his " Publics " attention. I understand that Leos adore this kind of admiration. But why do they need it soo much?

They need that attention because they are insecure.

I have read many times that Leos LOVE the spotlight but it does sound like your friend has some insecurity issues--if he really is adamant about getting attention.

PS, your Leo friend wouldn't happen to be an actor, would he?

THIS STATEMENT IS VERY TRUE. I JUST RECENTLY BECAME FRIENDS WITH MY EX LEO BOYFRIEND. HE HAS SERIOUS INSECURITIY PROBLEMS THAT HE WOULD ONLY DISCUSS WITH ME IN THE PRIVACY OF OUR BEDROOM. HE KNEW I COULD RELATE TO HIM BECAUSE I AM A LEO WOMAN AND HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME PROBLEM.

I'm honoured to be posting after such an eloquent thread that provided an insight into the personal humility assosciated with an acknowledgement of one's fears.

ok - so I went a bit overboard with the compliments! You shouldn't feel bad about needing them though. It's just a Leo characteristic.

I'm a gemini and strangely enough, most of my friends are leo's. I love to talk constantly and Leo's are really enthusiastic about listening to my drivel, as long as I'm saying good things about them.

A happy medium! So there's the occaisional public display of insecurity - what star sign doesn't have them in some form or another!?

I don't believe Leo's are more or less insecure than the rest of the people out there. As a Leo, I am not insecure but love the limelight, and yes, I am an actor b/c of it. It stems from NOT insecurity, but a love of life, people and LIVING. We would rather be out there amongst it all than watching from a corner (not that there's anything wrong with that!) If you don't like being in the spot light with your Leo man, then take a step back and find someone else.

I think they are insecure when they are young, as they grow and acquire experience become more secure. However, since Leos are born to be leaders as well as actors I think we all need to accept they are the drama queens of the Zodiac. Additionally, as a Water Sign I to am a Born Actor, just do not need to be dramatic over silly s***. I only act when I am piad to do so!
