Hmm, well it looks like I have the same Mer, Venus and Mars as your Leo.

Merc in Leo: To those close to me I often refer to myself as a bit of a bulldozer >.< I'm (sometimes painfully) blunt when offering an opinion. I don't do so maliciously, but I'd much prefer to be honest than beat around the bush. This has gotten me in trouble more than once as not everyone can handle that kind of naked honesty.

Venus in Virgo: I really enjoy doing things for those I care about, from spoiling partners with gifts, cooking dinner, picking some random item up that will treat them or make their lives easier. Not every gift is lavish and most actions aren't grand. It's the little things to make them smile, let them know they're thought of and cared about. I also tend to be pretty shy with people I'm interested in; I move slowly, not giving anything away quickly or easily. Feelings or chemistry aren't enough to make me plunge into romance, I'm not interested in anything casual and tend to look at people in terms of the big picture. I want a long-term partner, someone to share my life with and that involves a lot more than just "I get butterflies when he looks at me". That's part of it, but not the only one nor the biggest for me.

Mars in Cancer: The main thing I learned about this was that I need a strong emotional connection a partner to really enjoy physical intimacy, and with it comes an amazing amount of depth and intensity. Being so emotionally and physically in sync with someone makes an "NSA" or "FWB" situation seem empty, meaningless and about as enjoyable as blowing my nose, there is absolutely no comparison. As far as my temper goes, this is a pretty difficult placement for me. I tend to shut down and retreat during any upset or anger, and will let it stew on my own until eventually it bursts in a rather incomprehensible and overemotional display of wtf-ery 😆 You'd think the Leo Merc will help but no, it just makes me louder and even more unintelligible LOL

About his Venus in Virgo: Our situation is complicated, i dunno if you have read some of my other posts. About the little things, well, there is not much he or we can do there 😢.
Yes he can by shy around me, not the 'getting all the attention leo' he is with others. He does move slowly and is not very emotional, but when we are alone together he will fill me with kisses, the sweetest kisses, and i guess that when he says that he is with me cause he feels we can be together in the future and be great, is what you mean about seeing the big picture. He says that we just sync into each other and that we look for the same things both in life and relationships (i have LOTS of Virgo placements). But at the same time he gets distant, and aloof, so i get scared about him lying to me 😢

About his Mars in Cancer: Well, when it comes to his temper, i havent see that side yet... BUT last issue he told me about left him with a hoarse voice :O
about the emotional connection, as we dont get lots of chances to be intimate, we are moving very slowly there, but i feel a connection between us, and we are very affectionate to each other, specially when we get together... like if he was smitten by me... and i was smitten by him...
