Can't quite make sense of this fella.
He seems very masculine and Leo, but goes in waves of chasing me and making his interest known and then seemingly backing off and wanting me to come to him.
I've dated Leos so I have an ok understanding of how they operate, but I haven't come across this Mars/Venus combination before.
Any insight? Perhaps the side-stepping crab ways of his Mars in Cancer keep him from just full on perusing or perhaps he's just not that interested. As far as he has told me (but who knows), he isn't dating anyone else...he and I are hardly dating, just in the get to know you stages, but still curious for some insight.

With this particular guy, we were having drinks and I went to get a napkin from the bar and a guy started flirting with me and I immediately gestured toward the Leo making it clear I was with him and then when I got back to my Leo I made sure my eyes and attention were glued on him.

It's a shame cus I thought he and I got along quite well and he definitely comes across as confident so that's why I just assumed he wasn't interested rather than him being intimidated. He's very manly and when I told him I found him very masculine/sexy he refused to believe I thought that!

Hahah I ever got to that place with him I'd be ride or die, but currently I can't even get him to reach out to me very much. This morning, however, very unlike him, he messaged me saying happy friday and we made chit chat and I asked what he's doing this weekend and he asked me what I'd doing and I told him I'm not doing anything tonight and then I told him my other small plans this weekend and he just ever responded.
Of course he's at work and likely busy, but I'm just wondering if he will reach out at some point to make plans. What's the best way to try and get things rolling here so I can at least get to know him better?

One thing I noticed about Leos and this combo in general (moon Scorpio) is they like upfront people. But you have to be careful how you deliver it. You might offend/insult them.Their Leo sensitivity mixed in with Scorpios tendency to get even...can be hurtful to the victim (you) and heartbreaking. One thing I've noticed about him is that when he's upset, he will do hurtful things like (ignoring my texts and calls) and being short with me if he replies. Then when we meet up, he'll try and get even by saying hurtful things to me. I don't think he does this on purpose but it's just something you need to be aware of.
Since you're moon is in Virgo, you can work with his Scorpio moon but be careful with the criticism that Virgos tend to give. His sensitive Leo sun will not like this. On top of that his Scorpio moon will drain your Gemini sun. Trust me when I say this, the emotionallity and constant rows and upsets with him can be draining to say the least. You have to be careful. Think of it like a vampire. They can drain the life out of you. You need to learn to step back and take a breather once in a while otherwise you will end up hurt. This is a constant struggle I deal with. My emotional side sometimes feels drained and ready to collapse (think of Katana in her last moments in Mortal Kombat at the hands of her opponent - can we say "FATALITY" lol) But sexually and at most times emotionally I feel like his intensity is a turn on. I love it. I think it's my Taurus mars that balances this out.
